STORM ELITE

An overwhelming number of Sangheili troops currently fall within the Storm Elite class; they are effectively the iron heart of the Covenant. Despite their substantial numbers, Storm Elites can still lead smaller detachments of Unggoy and Kig-Yar, and are in turn led by Elite Commanders and even Zealots. Although a Storm Elite’s armor is simple and sleek, it is more than competent for combat purposes and is typically used in conjunction with a Storm Rifle, or in some rare cases, a Covenant Carbine.
