Any developers on here?

OP brochachofy

Are there any developers that are active on here? Java, c#, swift, js, etc.
Probably a few (web developer myself). Are you looking at building a Halo app using the API? If so, I can move your topic to the appropriate forum

Somewhat, yes. I believe that would be best. Not sure where that forum is though. Thanks!
I drop by occasionally - noobing it up with C#, for the most part. Things have quieted down since the hackathon contest ended, but there's still a few folks in the community. What kind of projects are you working on?

Dude, so sorry for the late reply. I was working on an android companion app but it kind of fizzled out since I couldn't find any other devs with interest.
I've been a passive member for a long time in the halo community (like [halomods](http://old.halomods.com/forums/index.php) long time). Anyways, I really wanted to participate in the hackathon, but I got married and switched jobs around that time. Needless to say, I'm finally able to spend time on side projects one of which is a map strategy web application. Hard to get too far though since the API coverage for map metadata is pretty low. I'm hoping the requests are heard at some point (see below).. or that someone from 343 reaches out.

  • The top 2 winners of the hackathon being map based apps
I'm eager to hear some sort of answer on these APIs since it'd be awesome to add more tools for the community to strategize together online; imagine players of HCS or HWC being able to plot routes and labels on a collaborative map diagram, then privately (or publicly) share them. I think the gaming community can/will circle collaboration applications.
