Choose Your 3 Favorite Halo Maps to be Remastered.

In Halo Multiplayer, I'd like to see these 3 maps remastered:

  1. Gaurdian (Halo 3)
  2. Construct (Halo 3)
  3. The Pit (Halo 3)
*I personally hate High Ground but the MCC community loves it so lets just bring it back too :)
1. Sidewinder
...but only if it's completely faithful to the layout and design of the original. I don't want Avalanche. I want Sidewinder. That said, I wouldn't mind if the visuals were changed. If it were set in a Covenant open-cut mine instead of a Forerunner ice canyon, I'd welcome the change.
2. Zealot
I've always had way more fun playing on Zealot than all the Midship variants for some reason. The way the players are forced to play on Zealot is sort of reminiscent of Haven, though I'm not entirely sure why. I think it has to do with the player movement and the simplicity of the design.
3. Tempest
I've never actually played on Tempest, but I love the very 'Halo' appearance of it. I'd like to have a go on an updated version.

*I'm pretty tired of High Ground (as well as every other map that has been over-voted again and again across the years). I'd be happy to see Powerhouse again though. It has the same visuals but a fresher layout.

Valhalla (Halo 3)
Guardian (Halo 3)
Lockout (Halo 2)
My favourite maps to be remastered would be:

1. Valhalla because it was my favourite map in halo 3 and halo 4 and overall was so fun to play with the vehicle combat and the power weapon strategies.

2. Blood gulch because it is a classic map and brings back good memories from CE, halo 2 and reach.

3. High ground from halo 3 because it was a fun map to play online, local with friends and it had a good balance for power weapons and vehicle combat.
None! Honestly, I would rather see brand new maps then having the same maps be remade every game. 343 has a talented team of level designers and I would love to see what they can come up with. We can remake maps with Forge so the community can take over remakes, in my opinion.

These were all only Halo PC maps so they're basically new maps to most Halo players. Most peeps probably won't mention them. Plus they're awesome. Death Island and Infinity are excellent maps for team vehicle convoys of Warthogs and Ghosts. And Banshee escort!

Your team can spawn and load up into 3 warthogs, 2 ghosts, 1 banshee, 1 Scorpion (A wraith may be better nowadays), then roll out in force! Such a fun vehicle map as it was massive and you can choose between several routes to avoid foot soldiers/snipers/fuel rod spawn or maybe a pesky Banshee patrol.

You could also do insane jumps from the top section of the island - drive off the edge for like 5 seconds of airtime, onto the beach to avoid a banshee or enemy. I've killed warthog players in mid air with the banshee bomb lol. Was so much fun to do.
Personally, I would love to see new iterations of the following:
  1. Turf (Halo 2)
  2. Zanzibar/Last Resort (Halo 2/3)
  3. Boneyard, with the return of Invasion (Halo: Reach)
BTB fan I'd say

Daybreak (halo 4)
Terminal (halo 2)
Sandtrap (Halo 3)
Empire (Halo 5, good for 2v2 because its nice and small)
Infinity (Halo CE custom edition)

The community made all the halo 5 btb maps and they weren't that great imo.And there's only been like 5 maps that have carried over to other halo games and they were well made so what's the problem?

I'm not saying there is a problem with the older maps, I love them just as much as everyone else. However, if I had a choice between getting another Valhalla remake or a new canyon map, I would choose the new one. Personally, I think that's what Halo 3 did well by creating a bunch of original release maps and relying very little on remakes until the later map packs. I do think Halo 5 BTB has some gems but ultimately is limited by Forges capabilities and performance issues.

Honestly, I don't think I want any of them back. I don't want my memories tainted with remastered maps that won't be or play as good as the original more then likely.

I really feel like maps in the last two Halo games overall haven't been very memorable compared to maps before. I want new maps that blow me away!
