I was thinking the same exact thing. The 17th is a date I said at this topic
and the most likely date of release. A console needs to launch with several games. Not just one. Halo will be the main one. But there needs to be at least 3 to 5 games that also launch. Halo Infinite, Assassin's Creed Valhalla, and potentially a new Mechassault will be launch titles. I completely agree with the 17th. Not to mention it is only 2 days after Xbox's Birthday. It cannot launch on the 3rd (Election Day USA.) It shouldn't launch on the 24th (pushing too close to Thanksgiving USA.) and another US holiday (Veterans Day) is on the week of the 8th. So, the 10th is unlikely as well. October is too early and December is too late. August will be the release date/price announcement.
above said no console has released in December.
PlayStation 1 did. Released December 3rd, 1994. :)
Quote:11/17 would be fitting but not as fitting as 11/7
While fitting, the 7th is a Saturday. Not going to happen.
Quote:I remember a friend showing me the news yesterday. I was skeptical a little but I wouldn't be surprised. The original Xbox, Xbox 360 and Xbox One all came out in November.
Only the Xbox One S has not come in November. All other Xbox consoles have released in November.
Quote:Expect an early December launch at best.
No console since the PS1 has released in December. It is way too late for Christmas shopping. It must come before Black Friday and Cyber Monday USA and England.
