If halo infinite had warzone, what big things would you change, if any?

For me, I’d make A.I. that spawn near the center aggressively roam the map And attack the team controlling the middle base, rather then them sitting of in a corner of the map waiting to be killed. I’d unify the req level growth for both teams (if red team is at 7 blue team is at 7) so it’s based more on using the right reqs rather than out req compounding your opponents. I’d also make boss takedowns give your team req refill energy (scales with boss tier) rather than points. finally I’d make the number of bases 5 instead of 3, giving the losing team more options of back capping the enemy and shifting momentum.
i would not add it at all

That’s not the question I asked.
Well, they could use this Warzone Feedback thread as a basis. My post is on page four. I haven't played regular Warzone for a long time, but I'll list some things that could be changed or improved.

1) Better designed maps. As unbalanced teams showed, only having one way to get to the rest of the map out of the home base isn't good. Giving us multiple paths even if they're only available on foot is better than nothing. More armories might be better like you suggested kind of like an emergency backup or more flanking options.

2) Each team needs a health meter for the bosses. This will stop people from stealing a boss kill from a mile away with one shot.

3) More boss variety. It's a simulation so who cares if there are enemies from previous games. It also needs more free roaming low point bosses to mainly be nuisances. It's not related to Warzone, but don't use WZ maps for Firefight. That's how we got Hunter bosses and Wardens on elevated platforms in the home base turning it into a cluster you know what.

4) We need the ability to customize our REQ menu so we can select the weapons/vehicles that we want to use in the game. This way we're not side-scrolling for ten seconds trying to find the right loadout weapon.

5) More variety of worlds to be on with different art styles. We got a little bit of that with Sanctum and Temple being on a Covenant world, but there's obvious potential to go to more worlds especially if you allow enemies from previous games. Also, the final boss or the bosses in general could be specific to the world we're playing on. With art style, I'm mainly referring to the UNSC bases. We don't need cookie cutter bases on every map. They all could be unique and influenced by the world they're on.

6) Maybe the new skill system will prevent this more, but obviously the potential for farming needs to be addressed. I don't know how you fix it, but we need something like maybe a surrender option for example.

7) For game modes, have a Warlords playlist at launch for full fireteams or Spartan Companies as well as a Turbo playlist. I was also thinking of maybe having a Dominion based playlist or even including Dominion elements into regular Warzone.
Remove the pay to win microtransactions.
Evolution into a larger more adaptive map and play style where progression/accumulation of points means more for specialising play styles.

I'm thinking something like where Star Wars Battlefront 2 Galactic assault meets Halo Warzone.
Get rid of the pay to win REQs.
What I believe 343i should do is remove req packs and create a new way of using Reqs in Warzone.
First they should keep all the gameplay the same but everyone should have 1 time use reqs for every game of warzone. You still progress through the req levels normally but once you use a specific req you can't use it until the next game. Also only one person on your team can use that req at a time so your team can't have 5 scorpions all at once.

As a result this fixes so many problem Warzone has
•No pay to win
•No microtransactions
•A different experience every game
•No limited Warzone sandbox (Access to every req)
•A more balanced game

Also bosses need 2 health bars
I would remove the rng loot style req system, it adds a pay to win element to Halo. It's something that no multiplayer game should have imo. I don't know any players that like rng loot boxes.
Load outs:
  • Replace the current system with a more traditional loadout system. Something like what Halo 4 had, minus Forerunner weapons
Reqs:
  • Instead of bringing in your full collection, you pick 10-12 cards (power weapons, power ups, vehicles) which you’re stuck with for the duration of the match.
  • Req Energy becomes a currency which is earned in line with gameplay score, so that Req costs can be more fine tuned.
  • Instead of endless variants, more focus on REQ customisation. I.e, instead of 20 Warthogs, we get the three baseline turrets and each one has mod cards that’s can be unlocked.
Not much tbh. The oni gungoose, the plasma turret, and other weapons and vehicles of the like. I would definitely reduce hunters' speed and their melee reach because it's ridiculous.

I think the best fix could come from more competitive matches in social and wz

Honestly I would remove war zone period war zone was one of the most imbalanced game modes period. With variants on weapons how fast you can get them and vehicles it quickly became one sided. That aside while the love was nice love has no place in a fps I'd keep halo competitive gaming period while returning to its roots. That said remove warzone
Warzone, change it in to a TRUE big team battle. the other warzon where you face off against only AI...turn that into firefight from odst where you had 3 lives limited ammo and had to actual work and communicate with ppl to get far into the waves..and no bullet sponge bosses please
A different req system or no req system at all if they can't balance it better than we have in H5.
Remove the pay to win microtransactions.
Amen
Remove the pay to win microtransactions.

Then it's BTB, which I'm 100% ok with ;) I'd remove warzone, and integrate some game settings into a BTB game mode.
I would prefer it if they just removed bosses in general. It’s way too rage-inducing, fighting a boss isn’t fun, the enemy stealing a boss isn’t fun. I’d prefer it if either team actually had to kill 1000 people for the game to end.

More bases would be pretty good, too.
Warzone firefight is my favorite game type, warzone is pretty fun too.

I would want a "req level loadout" to be added so you don't have to choose the same reqs every match, once you die and your a certain req level your weapons get automatically changed out according to the loadout you make. having custom loadouts would make the game more fun I think.

You would still have to redeem heavy weapons or vehicles tho

24 man BTB with map-spawning vehicles, objectives, and maybe some scripted events and destructable parts of a map?
Sounds awesome to me.
Hell maybe they could bring back Invasion, or something of that style.

To know the Lore is to know Halo
"Dont be spoiled, dont start a fight. Always be careful, here at night. Because the Spartans might come, in suits that weigh half a ton. And they'll steal from you all you gots, just like they did from Colonel Watts."
I just wanna try a 12v12 BTB experience on Warzone maps. Honestly think that kinda thing would've been better than the BTB playlist we ended up getting in Halo 5.
