A difference is Cyberpunk was made for PC players, whilst 343i has said directly it was made for the Series X. The Series X uses very similar tech to the One. However, not releasing it on the One would attract people towards the Series X.
Cyberpunk was always a cross gen release. It was announced for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Further into development it was announced that a Series S/X and PS5 version would come in 2021.
Yes, initially Halo Infinite was for Series S/X. I read that too. I think it should be exclusive for Series S/X and PC. But they decided to release on all Xbox consoles. I'm still not convinced that will happen. I think there are more bombshell announcements to come.
As for Halo Infinite, to my knowledge the game was primarily developed for the Xbox One X, not the Xbox Series X.
Cyberpunk. Yes I know, but it was always coming to base Xbox One and PS4, it was announced like that long before we knew about Series X/S. My point being it was not made only for PC players, the Series X port is very good too, but as you say, still not acceptable.
I didn't say Halo Infinite was developed primarily for the Series X, but I have a suspicion it possibly is from what I read. From what I recall reading Halo Infinite had been initially implicated to be exclusive for Xbox Series X/S,,, or words to that effect.
I'll try and find where I read it. I'm sure I'm not insane lol, not yet anyway. It was around the time Frank O'Connor announced it was being developed for Xbox One, mid to late 2019 I think. Also comments like "Halo Infinite's Xbox One version won't be second class" make me suspicious.
