That's not entirely true. The movie began to split the fandom, something that has gotten worse since its release. Critics loved it. Audiences were split. A lot of people, like myself, didn't like it.
have a rushed or lazily made campaign. that includes being a halo 3 rip offIt’s interesting that you mention it shouldn’t be a halo 3 ripoff, that considering the well reception of another movie that made a lot of money.
That movie was noted to have very large similarities exactly like the first movie that came out.
And yet so many people enjoyed it.
Many would probably accept if Halo 6 were a ripoff of Halo 3 in the new world, considering that halo 3 was a good story and all they want is to enjoy a Halo campaign again.
But you want more then just a ripoff, you want them to really wow you with a well crafted story you’ve never seen before.
I know a lot of people who would scold you for saying that.
I tip my tusks off to you, without dismembering them from my lower jaw.
I didn't know that, I walked out of the theatre feeling good, saw good reviews, and generally had positive conversations about it with my buddies.
I didn't feel the same way about the movie just came out recently, but still!
Could've sworn the movie was a well-received gem, back then I didn't have the necessary mind to assess and critique movies, that's probably why I didn't think anything of it.
Thanks for letting me know.
Pertaining my point though, were 343 to repeat a Halo 3 style campaign only with the new enemy of the prometheans and a well crafted conflict using the new characters,
I would say MOST would accept that in favour of pure satisfaction, excluding the people who would complete the game saying "That was uncannily, just like Halo 3".
A more mindful crowd would notice the differences off the bat and the hate the movie outright, instantly.
I thought it respectable that Limy didn't want to just pipe down and accept that it's a good thing to repeat what worked many years ago.
Again, I feel the majority would, and I'm happy to know there's a community that won't.
