Treat BTB fairly at launch

Yo 343, I don’t care if you want to try making Warzone again or start a Battle Royale. But give BTB the love it deserves at launch. I know you need to crank out multiplayer content for 10 years, but we’ve done this rodeo before with Halo 5 and almost everyone dragged you for it. Adding a permanent playlist with only forge maps 4 years into the game’s release didn't cut it for your last game and it’s certainly not gonna go well if you try to pull it a second time. BTB doesn’t deserve to take a back seat to other game types just because they happen to have large player counts too

343 know they stuffed up the Halo 5 launch... so don't worry, all the game modes will be present and accounted for at launch.

I'm assuming BTB will be on of those (depending on projected population numbers vs other modes).

And lastly. Prepare yourself for more Forge maps. A lot more. With a new engine custom built around Forge (as opposed to being tacked on previously) - I expect Forge maps in Infinite to look and play heaps better than in previous Halos. There will be more assets, hopefully custom texture applications, and better frame rates / lighting. So don't be surprised if all maps across all modes (including slayer) are essentially built from Forge. But this will be a good thing. :)

Agreed, btb has been my favorite mp mode since CE, and I was very disappointed with how it was treated in halo 5. Dont get me wrong, I love some of the forge maps, I personally forge maps as well, and yall did a great job forging the maps, I just would have loved to see btb at launch with at least some dev made maps. I really hope infinite has btb at launch and treats it as a main mode.

Agreed. Hope 343i focuses more on Arena and Firefight in general rather than stuff like Warzone and its accompanying casino. I thoroughly enjoyed Halo 4’s BTB because the care packages and all added to the chaotic nature of the mode. Hopefully we see something like that make a return.

BTB has always been my favorite playlist. Needless to say, I was very disappointed with Halo 5's launch offering, and that content gap was never closed. Forge maps are nice, but they become an eyesore when they are the only maps in the playlist. Seeing a proper BTB could get me on board for Infinite's MP

I liked WZ but was disappointed that it got the love BTB should've gotten. Hopefully with how long this game has been in development, Microsoft has given them enough time to give it the attention it should've gotten last time.

What's this "4 years" thing though? Exaggeration to make a point or typo?
