What kind of wildlife could we c in halo infinite

OP Djzapper128

What kind of wildlife could we see on the new Halo ring? I’m hoping blind wolves as it would be awesome to see them in a Halo game.
I’m thinking there could probably be a variety of wildlife. There could be ambient wildlife that barely interact with the player, but are cool to look at, and interactive wildlife that will attack, assist, or otherwise interact with the player.

Attack has been done in Reach, so it's not outside the realm of possibility... I'm intrigued by this idea of assist though. That could make for a very cool narrative. Animals are very good at sensing danger before humans see it. Perhaps paying attention to the ambient wildlife will come with rewards, like noticing enemies before they notice you. Maybe on lower difficulties this wouldn't be an issue. But for Legendary, LASO, and speed running, this could be very beneficial for the savvy gamer.

Assisting the player is a bit too....meh if you ask me. But wildlife like we had in Reach is fine. I think the balance of engagement should always be between UNSC - Covies and then sometimes a third faction. Wildlife wouldn't be a good third faction in my opinion as they're unpredictable and no matter what game (look at Far Cry) the attack animations on animals always look...off.

Besides that point: I think we've seen our wildlife in the first trailer. Add some birds and fish and I think we're done.
Well, besides what has been shown of Infinite (and new unseen) & maybe some recurring wildlife, Im kind of hoping to see Thorn beast to finally make an appearance in an actual game.

Not assist as in directly assist, more like provide different queues that can potentially assist a player. For example, if there are enemy’s nearby, the animals will get panicked, if there are enemy’s approaching you, you’ll see some animals scurrying away from that direction before you see the enemy. Environmental assistance that can help build the atmosphere, and provide assistance to more observant players.
I would LOVE it if you had some weird monster hunter action. What if you went into 3rd person every time you dodged away from the creature or when you got tossed, creating an extremely satisfying battle. Not to mention that you could even get disarmed if you got hit, making you engage in knife combat. And to kill the creature, you have to mount it while stabbing it until you got to the head/belly kinda like Shadow of the Colossus.

I know it sounds weird but that would be sick.

And you would have an open-world mode where you have to escort/target/search in areas filled with wildlife and normal enemies. Because I would laugh so hard seeing a grunt get yeeted by one of those rhino things.
We need Moa from Reach. That would be hilariously nostalgic
