Hello,
I just bought Game Pass Ultimate and for some reason Lone Wolves playlist isn't allowing me to play. Mind you I did just buy the service but it wont register. Is there an issue with the Ultimate service?

I'm a bit confused. Are you able to connect to any other playlists? I can't imagine Game Pass would inhibit you from playing ONLY Lone Wolves, but I just want to be sure I understand what you mean.

Halo 3 is acting like my account has Xbox live silver so it wont let me play any of the ranked playlist.

That's strange, because I have Game Pass Ultimate and I'm able to play in all of the OG H3 playlists. Have you downloaded all of the map packs? If your nameplate is flashing then you will have to download all the map packs listed here (which are all free):

Heroic Map Pack
Legendary Map Pack
Cold Storage
Mythic Map Pack
Mythic Map Pack II
