This section is reserved for support help only. Any nonsupport topics will be locked or moved. In addition to receiving support, please feel free to share your suggestions on fixes you may have discovered and provide your fellow forum members assistance when needed.

There are a few things you may run into that you can resolve pretty easily through some simple troubleshooting steps. Be sure to make sure your issue is not addressed here.

Check recent threads
It may be someone else is having a similar issue or that an official thread is currently discussing the matter. If you can verify that you are also experiencing this exact issue, please use that thread rather than making one of your own. If you cannot find something that describes your exact experience, please start a new thread.

Use the following format when starting a new thread OR adding to one
This will help us understand your exact situation. The more details we have on your set-up, the better we’re able to help you quickly!

  • Title Post: (New Threads Only) Give us the basic gist of what’s going on in your thread title so we can identify it as easily as possible.
  • Platform: Is this a bug on Halo Waypoint.com? Is it an issue in-game (please specify which game)?
  • Description: An in-depth description of what’s going on (Including the steps you take in order to replicate this bug: where do you go, what do you click, etc.).
  • Expected Result: What should be happening when you do this.
  • Actual Result: What is actually happening when you do this.
  • Relevant Hardware/Software: If it’s a problem with Waypoint, what browser (and version) are you using? If it’s an in-game issue, let us know what console you’re operating on.
Thread locking policy
In order to make the Halo Support Forum organized and more streamlined for both you and the Forum Team, threads are locked regularly abiding by a specific criteria. If after 7 days there is no reply to one of OUR posts responding to an issue, the thread will be locked.
