[Locked] new leader and unit ideas for halo wars 2

Hello, It's been a while since I've made a new forum, since I'm busy with Forza horizon 3 but now I'm back.

Please put suggestions here for new unit and leader power Ideas. Hopefully, 343 will see this post if I get enough replies and add new content into the game based on our ideas. It's a low possibility, But I'l give it a shot anyways. Besides, who doesn't like new content?

I'l list my ideas here:

First of all, We need another u.n.s.c leader or two to add newer u.n.s.c units to counter pavium and vordius. (I'm not saying they're too strong, but I want them to have brutal enemies on the lore/campagn side of the game. Maybe some new campaign missions entered around them *hint hint*) here `are some ideas that I have had:

New leader based from Hannibal industries... (could be an officer, a scientist, or even a factory worker) adds a Hannibal variant upgrade to every vehicle. (new weapons systems and add energy shields) focus on anti vehicle heavy firepower but slow movement speed. add the cobra as a leader specific replacement to the kodiak along with a new marine unit with railguns. for leader powers, focus on laser/gauss abilities with maybe a shockwave/emp effect.

new leader from o.n.i probably a leader of high command. Ads an oni variant upgrade to every vehicle (focussed on explosive and/or anti air weapons systems. add a wasp as a replacement to the jackrabbit and include an o.n.i upgrade to it to mach the way it functions in halo 5. add a replacement to the hell bringer as a chain gun bearing infantry unit with explosive rounds. and an anti vehicle heavy wit a rocket launcher as a replacement for the sniper. as for leader powers, focus on high explosive orbital bombardments. maybe firing a frigate's main cannon.

Finally, add a new leader with jackals.

Wow! Great ideas overall. Unfortunately I talked to the devs and they told me they only plan on making one more leader: the Flood Jackel Mastercheif Vaughn ODST chimera Overlord Dragon.
It has been confirmed that no more big DLC(Meaning no more leaders or units) are coming to the game sadly... But hey! It's fun to imagine, so lets get imagine-ing.(Is that a word? Imagining? Whatever)

1. The Wasp:

Yes, I know the wasp is technically the "Hornet" of the new Halo games, but why not have both? The wasp would be weaker than the hornet with more damage output. Having double the rocket capability from the wingmen upgrade from hornets and it would be more mobile. This one is a stretch as I would've loved to see this in the game but I'm not hurt that they left it out.

2. The Cobra:

Once again, the "Kodiak" is basically the Cobra from the first game with it's long-range killing potential. And I'm ok with that. I really just want the Cobra back as for one I want to see what it would look like in the new artstyle. But also so. I can make walls of them combined with wolverines to be UNSTOPPABLE. MWAHAHAHAHAHA

3. The "Suicide" part of banshee's:

No idea how many people are glad or sad about this but I feel the ability of the banshee's to suicide into a unit once they died was awesome in the first game. So why not bring it back? It made sense and was effective, then again we did also get "Plasma Torpedo" in this second installment so this one just kinda works out. On to the next unit!

4. A "Cryo" Condor:

This sounds awesome! Admit it! Have serina have this super unit like Voridus has his "Volatile Scarab". It would be a normal condor just when it shot it would chill anything that it shot at plus anything in a small radius around where it shot. Sounds cool, maybe OP, but cool none the less.

5. Have a "Special" spartan:

They should replace at least one of the original UNSC leader's spartans with this. Preferably Andres. Have it be a normal spartan but you can pick and change it's weapon in the armory for some supplies. It doesn't have the same health and shield as the normal spartans though. Maybe half the shield and 3/4 of the health. So change he/she/ it's/ plant's gun to a rocket launcher when the enemy goes air for the AA aspect. Change it to a needler for when they go infantry, or change it to a fuel rod canon for AV. So many possibilities!

6. Make a "Blitz Units" Mode:

Make a mode that is like a regular deathmatch, but have blitz units and leader powers!(All normal leader powers are replaced with those only in the blitz mode) Imagine the madness! Lockdown scorpions and ironclad hunters battling it out along with other crazy units, it'd be so much fun! This mode wouldn't be around forever though, it'd be a weekly thing, it'd be around for the weekend or something like that.

Welp, that was all I could think of, there's so many more things to add but that's just my list. Anything to add? Also thanks for reading!
I think they should replace Yap Yap's Chopper with a Grunt Driving a Ghost.
That would complete Yap Yap THE DESTROYER
And let people adjust their starting Leader Points in private matches.
Also let people remove the One hero limit in private matches

I think on halo wars 2, its needs the flood back inyo it on maps or even a unit what makes thee flood !
Or even a hero what when dies had a 5 minute mutate mode and when finnished that player xan build flood units out its body.
I really like the idea of the Wasp replacing the Jackrabbit, that could be cool!

We currently don't have any flying scout vehicles, could make for a nice change.
An Elephant that can carry up to 3 garrisoned troops, Have grenade launcher troops replace cyclops, have the gungoose as a scout, add sparrowhawks, and make the hero unit a sort of tank-warthog hybrid that cannot attack air and is slow as heck. Maybe like a cobra but without the lockdown ability. Instead its ability would be to launch a barrage that fixes onto a location instead of an enemy unit. I’m thinking the leader could be Echo-419 just as an easter egg.

It should also fire a mortar!
They should add a corrupted monitor leader. The leader would use a combo of Flood and forerunner units/abilities.

Dunno, it is super hard for me to give an honest opinion about if this game should receive a new leader... On one hand, of course I want it because can add more spicy into the mix. New things are always well receive... But maybe not, 16 leaders is more than fine. Maybe the right thing it is to keep focusing on balancing the game. And maybe add two reasonable good maps. Couple of months ago I wanted a Flood leader or Forerunner leader so badly... But little by little I feel maybe is a bad idea if added in rush.

My opinion, the right thing to do is to keep balancing the game for few more months and grow up the community by official tourneys with good competitions. Later on, maybe half year later, come out with an expansion announcement ala ATN, with some crazy cool story, like the unknown story of how Kinsano survived against the Flood while Pavium and Voridus unleashed the infection, they find Decimus transformed into an infected form. And Kinsano with the help of the sniper Aligiery defeat Decimus infected, and discover the plan of Atriox to assault the Spirit of Fire. The two new leaders for the expansion could be Aligiery an UNSC sniper with units specialize in cloacking, stealing resources abilities, and high range Kodiaks and Cobras. Then, you could have Decimus infected as a "soft version" of the flood, with infected units that are able to infest bases and grow up in number really fast.

I am not saying this is the best idea ever, the thing for me here is, I would love to create something that make sense into the whole Halo Wars 2 universe, from a lore stand point, from a strategy rts game stand point, and a market profit. Where a new expansion for 20 buck could sell well, for all those new comers into Halo Wars 2 that have got the Xbox Game Pass, and all the people is buying the game. Every week, I see gamers in Twitter just blown away by this game that "they just discovered". I feel the population of gamers aware of the potential of Halo Wars 2 is just growing and growing. It is not like other games where there is a big boom at the beginning and then decrease, I am more than aware the game is little by little being install into more and more consoles. This new expansion is a more than welcome thing, and I believe from here to two years better than any new hw3 announcement.

Thel would be an awesome leader, however I think his base should be more akin to the covenant bases in the 1st wars game...
