new units and tech levels

so had an idea if you add tech levels 4 and 5 you could add suface to air support for tech four but if you get tech level 5 you can get air to surface support and while building will slowly take up recources and energy but when done fires a sustained blast at any ground units does a little bit more damage than scarab but cost 5000 energy to fireand for the surface to air support fores lots of plasma shots at any air in range suceptible to ground units
Techs that high would be too much. Long games are considered 20-30 min, imagine with those techs, the average would take even higher. For my taste, a good game should last 30-40 min, yet if its a defeat, will be painful.

I agree that having additional tech levels would be great. It would add another element to the game and also persuade most players who aren’t obsessed with just winning as fast as possible to come up with different strategies and play a longer game.
