How often do you get onyx or champs

Half my matches are played with one or two people that I know, the other half i'm always solo. I rank diamond in every playlist 99% of the time, if I keep working at it i'll get Onyx. I've had Onyx a few times in a few playlists, my highest ever being Onyx 1813 in Swat, but i've never made Champion.

Currently I am in diamond 1 in slayer but I do not know whether to follow him or not because if I lose, he lowers my level. What should I do?
Don't stress over your rank so much. I get them rarely. Usually around diamond 2. Adjust sensitivity in aim sometimes every game where u feel u can be doing better. Realize it soon and try to remember. My br is 5,5 setting. Pistol is around 3,5.. I have a few different combos I change to.
