Apart from the spelling, the arguments made in the post, OP, are justifiable.homerduff15 wrote:Okay its time to face fact. 343 do not care about us. They say they do but in reality they don't. The real priority to 343 Industires are req packs and Microtransactions. They released halo 5 with such a lack of fan favourite modes like grifball, infection, FORGE. Instead they made Warzone the priority. And do you want to know why the focus was so heavy on Warzone? It's because without Warzone no one would buy the req packs. Would you buy req packs if Warzone never released? No Warzone = No one buying req packs = No $$$. After all the great gamemodes that were in Halo 1-4 you would expect halo 5 to continue that trend. Wrong!
Halo 5 currently has all of the following gamemodes :Here is a long list of EVERY single halo gamemode ever released that is not present in halo 5 (*takes a VERY deep breath)
- Slayer
- CTF
- Swat
- FFA
- Breakout (new)
- Strongholds (new but since territories is absent it doesn't count)
- Warzone (new)
- Warzone assault (new, but since its similar invasion it doesn't count)
- BTB (Neglected and added in 1 month post launch)
- Grifball (added in 4 months post launch)
- Infection (added 7 months post launch)
- Doubles (added 8 months post launch)
- Warzone firefight (added in 8 months post launch)
- Community Action Sack (added in 11 months post launch)
on Halo 3s file share Race had over 340,000 downloads. So are 340,000 people no longer a priority to 343? Some of you may be asking well what if 343 ran out of time to add in these gamemodes. Here is your answer. Halo 5 had 3 YEARS of development and there is no way that they "ran out of time" to simply copy and paste modes that were made by Bungie and just throw them into your own game. It's been almost a year since halo 5 released and it's still lacking gamemodes that were in all the other previous halos AT LAUNCH. One could say that 343 wanted to be cautious after the biggest video game flop of the 21st Century that some people call 'The Master Chief Collection'. MCC had 5 games squashed into the one disc where as halo 5 is just the one game.
- Oddball
- King of the hill
- Ricochet
- Territories
- Juggernaut
- Race
- Nuetral flag
- Nuetral bomb
- Extraction
- Dominion
- Headhunters
- VIP
- Stockpile
- Invasion
- Regicide
- Multi team
- Classic firefight
- Snipers
- Spartan ops
Then you have community tool and features being pushed aside. Then we have more scout warthogs and weapon skins being added into the game instead of these essential gamemodes. We have Splitscreen being pushed aside in favour of a better frame rate and resolution and Playable elites being downright ignored despite countless forum posts begging for this feature.
- Theatre is a broken mes
- Forge was released 2 months post launch
- The file share was released 11 GOD DAMN months post launch
- Custom games launched with a huge lack of gammodes and options
And dont get get me started on things like making halo another modern fps rip off by adding in sprint and ads, the terrible UI and customisation options being completely dumbed down.
This is direct proof that 343 Industires not caring about the community but instead care about money. 343 really need to prove themselves in halo 6 or they will loose A LOT of fans including myself.
I suppose you could say that Strongholds is basically Territories, there is not that much difference.
Also, with Forge, it has become probably one of the best map creating tools on console to date. I know it is 2 months after release, but at least it is working. They should have spent a bit more time with Theatre mode to make sure it didn't turn out to be a mess.
Plus, Snipers is in Halo 5.
