not just armour effects, I much preferred reach's entire armour system, and though I realise req packs would probably stay the same I think that in halo 6 the armour system should be much more like reach's. firefight should also return, and I mean real firefight, because come on, I'm not saying warzone firefight isn't fun (it is fun) but is it anything like the original firefight? this would also mean that 343 could spend more development time making the game run smoothly, rather then making a billion and one armour sets. perhaps, instead of having the different paint jobs for the same armour, just have a paint option, like the helmet, wrist, chest and legs options. as for armour effects, keep them, but in ranked (or just any game) have an option to turn yours off and other people's effects to be invisible to you. that way competitive players are happy, casual players are happy, everyone's happy! except for the people who have to wait for a sale to get it! (jokes)
The thousandth reply!!!!! Anyway, I've been doing some thinking and well if such effects were to become an eventuality they most likely would be put under random or pay to get reqs. Does anyone know whether 343 has confirmed or denied whether reqs will be coming back in the next installment of Halo?
not sure, I hope only for warzone weapons and vehicles but not for armour. I don't like the halo 5 customization option much, and I also think we could get rid of req and xp boosters.
Halo 1, 2, 3, ODST, and Reach were all amazing. Halo Anniversary is only good because it's the original Halo with better graphics and Halo: MCC is only good because it's the Halo 1/2 with better graphics and includes 3/ODST. Halo 4 and 5 suck. Quite frankly anybody could polish an older game but it takes someone like Bungie to make a great game that'll be played for years on end. Halo 3 was THE game to play for over 3 years. Call of Duty releases a new game every year. Why? Because it gets boring. But Bungies Halo's never got boring! I wish Bungie never left. Halo died with them. For the sake of Halo, 343, make Halo worth buying this time and at least let us do matchmaking when Halo 6 comes out. We don't need a repeat of your last game.
halo 4 and 5 weren't bad games, they were just different. I agree with you in the fact that halo 4's multiplayer wasn't that good, and halo5's story was bad, but on the whole they are two decent games, if not as ground-breaking as bungie's halos. I was only introduced in halo reach, and my first game was 4. I found it very enjoyable, and though I did find reach better when I downloaded that I wouldn't say they are bad games, just, as I said before, different. and in halo 4's case, not as good ;)
