Armor Sets that should return

I liked the Scout armor from 4/5, heck I think the helmet was actually an improvement over 3's variant.
I also liked Kelly's version of the EVA helmet and Locus was pretty cool too. Scanner would look great with battle damage...can't say much for any of the others, they just don't appeal to me. (Recon, my Helmet of choice, always looked off in 4/5).

Also, I know that they aren't from 4/5 but I do like that they incorporated the Mk.IV from Halo Wars, and I'd also like to see the ODST variant from H2A.

All I need to do is finish the War Games....I think I am at like 840-860ish games the last times I checked. Halo 4 is what got me into the Raider armor set because of its wolf-like appearance and when I seen the DSTT skin essentially gave it a digital camo pattern, it was something I wanted to really try and get...so seeing that set make a return would be awesome...or just any more Raider sets in general.

You need to finish the campaign solo on legendary,
I did it, but I can't unlock the torso, I don't know why.
I love raider, I think it was the concept base for Locke's armor.

I think the Halo 4 EOD armor set should return because we didn't see it in Halo 5. I would also probably like the Katana chest armor to return as well.

oh yes please, i really miss that sleek yet very protective armour, not just because chief wore it, but it was so practical. None of Bungie's designs were practical. Imagine spreading your arms out like you're measuring your wingspan. Then raise your arms. You shoulders would get caught on your sides and don't even get me started with the space diaper. If there's one thing 343's armors have over Bungie's, it's practicality.

I was only saying the practicality point for the Mark VI chief wore in H2/3. This armour. It has enough freedom of movement-for most areas- to be practical, but enough armour to be more protective than what 343 is designing, an alright balance if you ask me. Not to mention it actually looks good, unlike the vast majority of 343 armours, where most of the undersuit is exposed. The 343 armour only looks good with specially designed undersuits under it. E.g, compare helljumper in multiplayer on a standard undersuit, then compare to when it is on top of a specialised undersuit, i.e what buck wears in the campaign, it looks very different.

"space diaper" on the other hand, I agree with-sort of. It is unnecessary from the rear as it can easily limit running movement, which is indeed shown in the Mark VI link. However, the crotch plate on the front I think is ok, as the armour looks very awkward without it. Unless of course they implement built in armour in all undersuits to compensate, which is what they did for osiris and in Halo reach. That i think is the best way to go, and many 343 armours would look so much better if the undersuit was "thicker" where it is exposed-this is very prominent on Locke.

Armor sets are nice but returning full customization is better.

Halo 3s Recon. Particularly the helmet. The one from reach is nice (except for that attachment on top) but the one in 3 looked so menacing. The shape of the visor, the brow, it all looked like one intimidating scowling face.

It was bulkier than the recon helmet from reach, but not as misshapen as the one from 4 and 5.
