Depends on what XP boost you have and what playlist you play. It's pretty tough to calculate. If you have a lot of high level boost and play featured playlist it will still take awhile if you don't have many boost and play regular playlist it could take longer than awhile.

If you get 125,739 xp every day until 8/1/20, you'll hit it. That's feasible, if you really want it. Every day doesn't have to be exact. Slack off one day, make double the next, or flex it out over multiple days. Make a simple spreadsheet to keep track of your progress. Once you see your progress, it makes it a lot easier to keep at it.

148 requires a total of 14 million XP and 152 requires a total of 50 million XP. If you continue to play the same way you have been up to now, you’ll need roughly 2.5 times the amount of hours you have already played to hit max rank from 148.

I sort of have some regret not consistently playing this game over the years. I didn't play much at all in 2017 and for most of 2018. I am 135 right now and so I won't make it by HI release but well deserve congrats for those how have!

For those in the upper 140s I say go for it, you got the time!

Halo 4 it was too easy to hit max rank. Halo 5 it's too slow. I wonder if Infinite'll be an epic grind or if it'll be a middle point between 4's and 5's.....
