Ok I know i am going to get alot of hate for this post but i personally feel like this needs to be said. I love the ranking system and how you are placed into a specfic rank, play 10 games and its based off of youre performance not wins. With that being said I understand you should have to win games and it makes you "Rank up" These ranks do give me alot of initiative to play well and focus more on my gameplay than what is going on around me. By far this is one of the most interesting ranking systems i have seen. My problem however lyes within the illusion that you are being pared with people of your skill rank. In which after each game i play looking at the stats of my teammates normally after a bad game and seeing there not even done placing in a teir yet. I am a Diamond in Team arena slayer, Platnuim in Slayer, and Onyx in swat. It is very frustrating when you are winning i was at a 1590 skill rank in swat onyx and got pared up with teammates that could not hold there own and 4 games later i get punished and drop right back down to a 1500 it did not matter i played well and went positive every match you cannot win every match i feel like i was punished because of inexperienced players and i am sure alot of you feel the same. Also the levels below onyx the only way to get out of these ranks is to win, this is a huge problem, I played well enough to qualify as a diamond in Team Arena and i win one and loose one i cannot get on a winning streak no one communicates i very seldom ever hear anyone on the mic so it results in a loss just about every match. What i am saying is winning a match should effect your score, but you should not be penilized to the extreme for not being able to win a match, there should be a balance if you go negitive a X amount then yes that should be penalized as you were not contributing to the team, now yesyou got the objective side of things also where going negitive can help win a match because you are playing the objective make it as if you are not defending an objective with in that radius that should be penalized. What i am saying is there needs to be a balance of skill vs wins because if you are in a rank you cannot get out of because you are loosing constantly then that will loose any playabilty this game will have, if this game is to be played and to stay atop of the most played xbox live games there has to be a balance and not punish those who do play well but cannot go lone wolf and kill everyone just for a win or even sacraficing there kill death ratio just so they can try and get out of a rank. Yes winning is important and needs to be brought back to the forefront of gaming but being punished for not winning to the extent this game does to the player is harsh and makes you loose intrest in wanting to even try.
