I have diarrhoea booked in for the 27th October, the initial blast will be mighty and boisterous, enough to get me off for a week for sure.
Play solo campgain all night most likely. Then school in the morning :(
On October 27th, I will be... probably doing school. For the next year. Then I'll buy Halo 5 a month after launch. Because I do not preorder AAA games ( unless they're singleplayer) and I want first impressions before I buy this. Master Chief Collection comes to mind when I start thinking of Halo 5.
Beating the campaign on legendary with four friends first. Then rocking the multiplayer hardcore.
One thing that is for sure is that Oct. 27th is well on its way. H5G release date falls on a Tuesday (if you didnt already know). I would like to know why big industries release Triple A titles right smack in the middle of the week? I am very much anticipating that Halo 5 will be a 10/10 and its addiction level will be so high that I am only forced to do one thing, and that is to call work and explain to them that I have a bad case of diarrhea that is believed to be food poisoning, according to my doctor, that I got at the local Chinese Buffet.

ps. My girlfriend thinks im going on vacation, but little does she know I will be stuck in my man cave play H5G pounding Monster Energy and Doritos for the next 7 days.
We didn't need to know this

Thank you for your kind input! :)

So that I can continue to play Halo 5 the next day, and the next and so on until Monday comes where I have to go back to work. Im sure if you are as hyped and excited as I am you will do something similar if you work, or go to school, ect. Which leads me back to my first question. Why does Microsoft Studios choose Oct. 27th as its release date and not Oct. 30th? Maybe has something to do with server overload, knowing that the average worker/school student works Monday-Friday and feels that if its game released on a weekend it would cause overload issues. As to releasing the game in the middle of the week knowing that the average american will be going to work or school (except me) will have time to do in game updates and not have to worry about the weekend crowd crashing the servers. Just something that has always been curious to me.

Everyone feels the same man.
Thankfully I have many many sick days accrued and ready to be used
I have a terrible case of 'Halo Fever' so I can't come into work today. I can't get off my bed, I keep talking gibberish about 'Guardians' and 'Blue Team'. I hardly got any sleep.

Sorry boss.
Do you think this excuse might work?....Its worth a shot
Hmm in hindsight I might remove the Halo gibberish references. Boss might be a Halo fan. Not being able to get off the bed and no sleep? That will work haha. Flu 😊
I'll use the explosive diarrhea excuse

No one ever questions explosive diarrhea
Whats explosive diarrhea? Also whats the ratio of it working?

Also, I'll be stuck at school. Can't say I'm sick because that is too ironic. But believe me, the moment I get home..
After the way MCC launched and other Xbox one titles, I am just getting H5 that day and will attempt to play. Not going to the midnight release or anything. It's not worth it IMO. I used to take off work and prepare for a day or two of gaming. But odds are it botches and you are better off waiting. MCC still has issues and even the Halo Channel has issues. 343 can't seem to get anything right and these Xbox ones are far from impressive so far.
Pretty tough decision for me cause I have college classes that day =( I guess I'll be waiting for the weekends to finally play Halo 5 Guardians, I'm most especially excited for the campaign!
I am preloading the game to play it til late in the night Monday into Tuesday. I will go to my one class on Tuesday, hit up the local store for pop and microwavable food and then I will lock myself in my room for the rest of the day to play Halo.
I have no ride...so unfortunately I need to wait until about 6pm to pick it up.
I'm doing a lot of homework in advance just to be able to play a bit more on the 27th.
Play through the campaign on launch day and then spend the rest of the week playing multiplayer with friends.
Definitley going to be missing school that day, I wouldn't be able to sit in class lol. "The doctor said I have sanghellitus"
I havent booked any day(s) off, but Id like to. I work the day it comes out, but the nice thing is that I get off school late that evening before (around 10PM) so I will just go to the midnight launch anyhow, when its ten minutes from the other campus I usually attend.
I have been working shitloads of overtime, so i have the whole week and half of the next off in lieu! Halo Marathon \
After the failed launch of MCC, I will not be taking a day off of my normal plans to play this. So I'll still be duck hunting. And if the game works, Awesome. If not. No big deal, i'll just wait 9 months for it to get fixed again.👍

We'll make sure you don't invite your buddies over to beat the campaign with you. Not unless they're each bringing their own TV and Xbox One.
