Maybe also, for maps like sanghelios or temple, the escort missions have the swords of sanghelios against the flood?
another glitch encountered in heroic firefight

entered a game in progress at the end of round 1, but was given the basic starter level ie req 1 empty bar. By end of that round i was moved to req 2, 1 full level behind the absolute minimum for anyone who started the game at the start. Start of round 4 saw me still at req 3 because come on round 3 with assault rifles?. It really wasnt untill i pulled a ghost req that i caught up to where my level should have been.

How to fix? if a person joins a game in progress set thier req level to at least the round level so they are not placed at a vast disadvantage when it comes to fighting mobs outside the capacity of the starter weapons

edit - something seems off with ai coding. when i am playing a game with 7 others and the 3 bosses plus the knight trash mobs are ALL after just me to the point the bosses literally just hover there and do nothing at all untill i become visible, which is inevitable because im also being hunted by several knights. Somethings wrong. What causes that? its highly frustrating and doesnt really make it very fun, for me at least. Especially when i can literally watch everything just sitting there doing NOTHING untill i am in los then all it does, is focus fire on me

another edit - something needs to be done regarding req leveling on boss heavy matches. Its quite frustrating and really unfun being trapped at say req lvl 5 still at round 4 because all bosses engaged deny credit. What this does is mean you're barely getting any req progress so the last round you could use.. MAYBE a basic wraith while the lucky ones get to have banshees and advanced tanks/mantis variants. This leads to massively unbalanced scoring and its just not fun gameplay. And it all comes down to the dodgy boss crediting system and its whacked out method of determining who gets to progress and who gets kicked to the curb.
How long is the AFK timer?
I got kicked from a game for like, 30 seconds of inactivity in Mythic Firefight while in first place.

AFK timer is between 2 and 3 minutes, you can't be kicked for being AFK for 30 seconds
Round 5 when 3 wardens spawn, it is almost impossible to win. I personally have never beaten that round. A nerf or something would be nice.

when it happens twice in 1 game by 2 different people that suggests that something has to be done

Honestly, they should
A turn collision off
B make team killing only take out shields
C do a wierd combination of the two

And honestly, I have run players over, usually when I have stuff firing and killing my expensive req vehicles. Usually happens when they are moving too slow or blocking my way to cover. No. I am not sorry. Call me an elitist -Yoink-, but if I am moving to cover, I am getting there one way or another.

its interesting cause since i posted that i played again tonight and well was on escape from ARC inside the tunnels with those narrow side paths and i had some guy hit me in a wraith a couple times that knocked my shields off then he ran over me flat out and it then brought up a screen saying something about betrayal. I didnt read all of it but i had 2 options one was "yes" or something the other was "dismiss" i hit yes and the guy was ejected from the game.

The 2 banshees i was talking about in my other post were BOTH flying around inside the big central building on darkstar. All of these cases werent exactly design use for the respective vehicles

I apologize in advance if this has already been discussed several times, but it would be wonderful to see a round of soldiers or elites on Gungooses to help with the "Mongoose Destroyer" commendation.

To address all your questions.
  • Scoring: Seems fine
  • REQ Leveling and Energy Refill: It is too hard to get started in my opinion since some enemies we can't get assists on it is every man for himself to get to Req level 3 so we can get decent weapons and vehicles. I think you should implement the Warzone Assault method of a universal leveling up when someone gets a kill but at a lower rate unless you get the kill. The refill rate I think should be bumped up about 10%.
  • Objective Rounds: I like the objective rounds but we need to get some grace period to actually get to the objectives, maybe 30s. On escape from ARC the forerunner generator defense in the tunnel is difficult only because we don't know where to go next until it is time to go there and the prometheans spawn at the objective and are already firing on the thing. So we have to grind through all of them to just get to the objective. Now we have no ammo, and respawns are 15-20s long and we spawn back at the garage just to repeat the cycle. MULTIPLE times on Urban we get 1st wave defend the garage where, once again, the prometheans spawn at the garage and we are already losing the objective right off the spawn. Also knights at level 1 should not be a thing with their current health and weapon levels. It is close to impossible to focus them down while 20-30+ other small guys are all around and in the garage (really that's a problem with all bosses). I have yet to win an Urban match despite my team having multiple tanks and air vehicles on the last wave. Also we need to know where enemies spawn at when it is a kill all the grunts, soldiers, crawlers type round because my team spent a good 30s just sitting around because we legit didn't even know the enemy were on the map yet.
  • Boss rounds: Please decrease the number of minions that spawn with bosses. We spend so much time killing them and barely have time to kill the bosses. Doing that would solve a bunch of boss fights failing to be completed solely because we ran out of time. We can't bum rush through the minions at any level because they shred every and anything. Also the mantis bosses need to get a nerf so they can regen shields but not actual health. I can't reload fast enough before their shields come back and all their HP. Also they should not be aloud to spawn at lower than wave 3. We got them wave two on Darkstar and the entire team was shooting one mantis for a good 45s before we killed it. Needless to say we did not kill all four.
  • Spawning: Give us 5-10s respawn at all times. On the last 2 waves dying is pretty inevitable and losing 20-30s on those waves to super bosses killing everyone is bad because our strength greatly diminishes while those people are down and we can't wait to fight because so many bosses have a way of regenerating all of their HP. I constantly check the scoreboard just to see if people quit out because there is 3-5 people there while the others are sitting in a 30 timeout. Or let us revive our teammates.
  • Maps: Throw a lot of work in to fix urban or remove it because it does not work well at all as a warzone firefight map. Reasons stated above. All the other ones are fine in my opinion.
  • Intros/Outro: All the maps need intro and outro music. Maybe its my game but none of my matches have it. Darkstar also shows all 6 pelicans coming in as if it was a regular warzone match. I imagine someone got kinda lazy but i think it cripples the framerate during the intro.
  • Replayability: Replayability seems okay to me but currently with the game mode being so horribly unbalanced it is hard to keep going back to lose over and over and over.
  • Favorites: Fly in a Helios Phaeton raining death down on my enemy.
  • EXTRA: Overall enemy HP needs to be reduced slightly. Down to something like Legendary campaign difficulty HP. Right now it feels like you have it on Mythic with Thunderstorm. It shouldn't take 4-5 barrages from a Hannibal Mantis to kill the lowest level knights. That is crazy.

Been there more times than I can count, bud. I feel ya.
so im still a thing and i just did a game on a second account i own and in it, i got team killed by a person who by the end of the last round (failed to kill the boss) had achieved only 11 kills. I wonder if there could be some sort of vote kick thing added, obviously not in H5, but for H6? If you are in a game and you are basically carrying someone who only wants to run people over with warthogs and actually contribute next to nothing for an entire games duration the rest of the group should be able to toss them out for no reward.

As it stands that guy just now still got his 2000ish xp and req points for basically costing the team a win because he didnt actually contribute anything to the last 2 rounds. And all this comes after, and in addition to his team killing!

Edit - i also wish i was not punished by team killing. If i die to the enemy then thats fair enough and usually my own mistake. but when i can literally be cost end standings purely due to the actions of other players thats not fun. It hurts my k/d as well which isnt "fair". Mark it as a negative point for the offernder, heck ADD a "friendly fire" statistic to a persons service record. That would be great too
come on guys fix your stuff.. i played 2 games, in those 2 games were 18 bosses

i got credit for 2...

whats the point i literally might as well jam my movement stick up and walk into a wall for full duration. I would get EXACTLY the same end rewards as i do when i try, and get nothing, anyway. Only i would get FAR LESS anoyed and be FAR LESS likely to just shut down the console and walk away in frustration
