Scarabs, no. Pelicans, maybe.
I like the idea, but 12v12 still seems a tad small.
That would be could be to much for the game "AKA it would be way to crazy. And ther might be some balancing problems "
Well, the pelican is more like an unarmed UNSC dropship, the scarab would be too big and OP because of it's laser beam, and the Broadsword is a humongous fighter jet for taking out big targets (like the

from halo 4), not to just be wasted on soldiers, land vehicles and small air vehicles.
If the Scarab was added in any multiplayer Halo game, I'd want it to be a one-sided attacker vs defender game. In it, one team drives and escorts a Scarab to a location. The other team has to stop them. I don't see a gamemode like that coming in Halo 5, but until the gaming industry learns how to actually use the next gen consoles to their fullest extent.

Like Battlefront?
Maybe as a boss.
I have been wanting something this since Halo 2.

And have always wanted to see Scarabs as drivable. Even if we don't see this now, we definitely may see it in the future if Warzone is successful.

I love to see a Scarab vs a Mammoth. Halo has so many more vehicles that we have only seen in the extended universe or Halo Wars. I love to see many of these vehicles useable in Halo. Even if only to be used in Multiplayer. I would love to see the Chopper and Scepter return.

Warzone, opens up more possibilities than we can have for the core arena sandbox.
Those are quite the demands. As fun and explosive as it sounds, it just might not work. I mean, if we had to use a scarab and pelicans, 343 might need to work on maps 10x as big as normal maps. Okay, maybe 10 is too much but still.
That would be so awesome
I think maybe for Halo 6, but I definitely think it's likely.
Eh, I'm still against it. They intentionally added assorted objects and structures into warzone to create chokepoints and block line of sight to ensure smooth and balanced map design. It defeats the entire purpose of doing that and disrupts the flow of gameplay if you can suddenly void all that out by standing atop a mobile fortress.
I could a see a damaged Scarab possibly being used. That it was stationary but had use of the top gun, and maybe the main gun could fire, but was very restricted. This would be a objective/base to capture and hold. and as it could not move would not break the map. It may not be as much fun than driving, but it still be fun if you could fire it.

Same could be done with the Mammoth, but the mammoth is smaller than the Scarab and less powerful, so having this drivable would be less of a problem. Be like the Elephants in Sand Trap.
Wait, so Bungie DID endorse Halo Custom Edition, right?
Scarabs would be cool but the maps would have to be huge and I would have to image combat with a scarab would be clunky.
Maybe as a boss.
That would be awesome.
18 vs 18 I could see happing, but not the pelican, scarab or longbow. However I could be wrong,

What Warzone really needs is some Mammoth's. I miss those things, Sandtrap is one of my favorite maps of all time because of them.
I think an elephant would be better because of its size, though I think it could use more outside shell. But I agree, BTB sand trap was the best because of them.
Ah, right. I meant to say Elephants, thank you.
elephants arent bigger than peli's. Also you shouldnt assume what map(s) they were basing the x4 off of. And lastly, from my knowledge, the latest scarab model is piloted my magelekgolo. so itd have to be a.i. piloted,
Warzone maps are big, but I don't think they are big enough to accomodate a scarab, let alone one for each team that players could control and move freely.
also this, from looks, i wouldnt dare add a scarab from 'escape from a.r.c.' or a blank map like forge world.
Death Island is a typical BTB sized Halo map. It can fit 2 Scarabs in it decently in Halo Custom Edition. if Escape from ARC and Raid on Apex 7 (wich is BASED soley on Death Island) are 4x bigger than Death Island, they will fit 2 scarabs fine. Regarding open space, keep in mind that the Halo 3 model Scarab is smaller than the Halo 2 Model scarab (shown in the video). Space will work fine.
Death Island is basically the Cartographer map. The scarab could only walk around on the sea (which has no outer kill boundary). If it were to be on Apex 7, the Scarab would definitely not fit in the inner island, and would only stay outside the beach, with half of it hanging out on the sea (where spartans probably wouldn't be able to walk around in). It would make gameplay a nightmare.
I'm probably late here but do we at least get the Elephant? Loved driving that beast around Sandtrap.
I think Scarabs and Pelicans can work. They would certainly be enjoyable, even if it's for one map or gamemode just to have fun and cause destruction.
