Who’s hoping for an option to bring back LAN Parties? 4 Xbox one + 4 TV’s + 16 friends = The best time ever!

We use to host monthly LAN Parties for years and now modern games don’t have that option and is all online (which is great) but I would love to bring back those golden years of gaming.
I have some great memories of LAN parties

It'd be cool to see the local shops that host D&D and other table top games have the ability to host LAN events for Halo MCC..

Playing devil's advocate though, seems like development time that could be spent elsewhere. I'd like LAN support, but only if it doesn't come at the expense of a more popular feature.
MCC has LAN support. You can already do this, if you have a router. Connect your Xboxes to the router, go to settings in mcc (press the start button, not the big X) and go to network. Toggle Xbox live to LAN. If you can't work it out, use Google for a tutorial or https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.reddit.com/r/halo/comments/9arzp7/can_someone_explain_this_paragraph_on_mcc_lan_in/

You should mention that this is true LAN, as they originally claimed their "all consoles on a local network connect to one and other and then must periodically ping the Live network" bullcrap as being LAN.

What De Lullo is describing here is true offline LAN with no need for a Live subscription or internet access. It's glorious!

Also, it's worth noting that you can't enter a LAN match if you're currently in an online lobby; you have to back out and then switch to LAN.
