[Locked] MCC Playlist Update - 9/11/19

We are back at it again today with another MCC Matchmaking playlist update. This week, we’re focusing entirely on Halo 4’s Slayer category in 4v4 social matchmaking. We’ve adjusted the map variants used across each of the Slayer subcategories and paired each Slayer game variant with the maps that best suit it. Full details are below.

  • Infinity Slayer (57% weight) uses the Refresh map variants with weapons on map and Ordnance for power weapons. Loadouts and personal Ordnance are enabled.
  • Infinity Slayer is played on Adrift, Abandon, Haven, Solace, Harvest, Landfall, Monolith, Skyline, Pitfall, and Vertigo.
  • Team Slayer (10% weight) also uses the Refresh map variants. Loadouts are enabled but personal Ordnance is disabled.
  • Team Slayer is played on Adrift, Abandon, Haven, and Solace.
  • Legendary Slayer (33% weight) uses Legendary map variants with all weapons on map. Loadouts and Ordnance are disabled and players spawn with Battle Rifles.
  • Legendary Slayer is played on Adrift, Abandon, Solace, Haven, Shutout (Ravine), Ark (Forge Island), Onyx (Forge Island), Landfall, Monolith, Skyline and, Pitfall.

Looking Ahead
On Wednesday 9/18, the H2A Ranked Hardcore and H2A Fast Slayer playlists will rotate out. On this day, all the forge maps currently in H2A Fast Slayer will migrate into H2A’s 4v4 social categories that same day. Fast Slayer was intended as a limited-time throwback to last summer’s flights, and we look forward to pulling the forge maps which debuted in it over to Slayer as well as other game types in social.

H2A Hardcore is rotating out due to low demand from players. It could return in the future if there is enough demand.
