It got delayed because of 343's incompetence.
Or rather they want to get more things fixed so they can make more people happy and not have to go through the update release process more than needed.
I don't agree that this is the way it should have been handled.
For many, the game is broken - as in it literally cannot be played. Over the past 7 nights I've attempted to play, I've made it into under 20 games. Every night has been 6+ hours of trying to make it into a game. That's 0.4 games per hour. That's not acceptable. I feel they should prioritize making the game playable first, the extra bugs or the things that they want
to put in doesn't reflect what many customers want
. The wording of their decision worries me that they are either (a) not prioritizing or assessing the issues very well or (b) flat our lying. There is absolutely no harm in telling us that they need ot put in a few more things to pass certification. I respect truth and I respect communication.
It's only my narrow point of view - but within the circles I'm in both on these forums and social media - I see people having issues with matchmaking. The online multiplayer experience is the only thing I truly care about. The campaign is a nice distraction in the meanwhile, but I couldn't care any less. My thousand+ hours were not logged in the campaign, they were logged on the multiplayer battlefields.
