Have a friend that had on his nameplate rank reset January 5th, is this true? Will it affect the season if so? I am trying to hit level 100 but am only at 79 right now, playing as much as I can. Thanks.

I think he's referring to double XP which will end on January 6th, but your ranks won't reset.
