Did you quit the build of the MCC in the dashboard and then sign out of Xbox Live? If not make sure you do that. For some reason if you don't you'll get that glitch your experiencing. After you do that then sign back into Live and launch the MCC.

Yeah I've done that several times. No dice.

Yeah I've done that several times. No dice.

Only other thing I would do is make sure all your settings for Live are adult and not custom. If that doesn't work clear your alternate MAC address under your Live settings. If that doesn't work do a hard reset on your Xbox which is sign out of Xbox Live, then turn your console off and then unplug the power adapter from the back of the Xbox for two minutes and then plug it back in and wait until the light on the power brick goes from white to orange and turn the Xbox back on and try again. Finally if none of those work do a complete system reset like it's brand new.
