So I am having an issue where there is no audio in Halo 2 anniversary in MCC while playing campaign Co-op. The menus have audio when I pause it. Other games in MCC work fine, and single player campaign works fine in Halo 2. I have tried:

-Rebooting xbox with power cord pull.
-Reinstalling the game.
-Changing audio modes on the xbox to all possible options.

I have a Xbox X, hooked up to a Marantz Receiver via HDMI.

Update: tried on a different OG Xbox one and still having the issue, and that was on a different tv that’s plugged right into the tv.
Same! Menu, and Single Player audio is fine. Cutscenes are fine. But no audio during co-op gameplay.
So I have been trying to work around this issue but it seems to be more wide spread. It also affects you when you play online and LAN Co-Op. So there is literally no way to play co op in Halo 2.
Hey so I've started having the no audio in game problems with the single player campaign on Halo 2 anniversary.
The cutscenes are fine.
The pause menu is fine.
The rest of the games are fine.
Do any of you know how you fix it?

I've tried uninstalling the game and reinstalling it.
I've tried restarting my Xbox one s.
And I've tried changing the audio options in the Xbox settings.

If any of you know how to fix it please let me know. Thanks.
