Just saw a comment on Steam cataloging a couple Reddit posts relating to this exact issue. This is definitely a real issue that's affecting people and needs to be brought to 343s attention ASAP if it hasn't already. Here's the list of all those links

Noticed comments on two of the Reddit threads linked above that mentioned putting their games on the same type of drive fixed it for them, but obviously based on your post it is *not* a definitive fix, especially in matchmaking considering all the different PC builds everyone has.

Still have no luck on this issue.

We introduced the third person to our party so now we have three of us in the same house and one away. The four of us were able to connect and play a full Invasion match perfectly fine. We tried again and then one of us in the same house had been disconnected with the message "Connection Interrupted: Your connection to the game session has been interrupted."

We have tried every possible solution that we've discovered scouring the web and still no luck.
I created a spreadsheet to start tracking games to see what happened here https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1bMJ-06TFBYfDoAITJ1-PkKQoDLgE6sqv0dN65XuMOG0/edit?usp=sharing
UPDATE:
So far, we seemed to have fixed the issue. Two things we did were 1) Set NAT filtering on the router settings to Open and 2) Updated the network drivers on one of the computers. We have been able to play almost 30 games in a row over 4 days without any issues. We're going to keep testing to see if this continues to work.
