Gonna be wonderful if a class like medic can be on Halo 6,ressurrecting allies from death...Im fine with this Halo, but i think its the worst. Im Halo veteran, playing since 2002 from first Halo on the first Xbox, and i think that the best Halo of all times was Halo 2...nice kills with the sniper :D
No classes is the beauty of the Halo games. Halo 4 was so bad, do t go back to that, and Reach as well
No classes. Halo is at it's best when everyone starts on the same footing. It's not a class-based shooter, and throwing class-mechanics into a franchise that has never needed it before ends up bad (looking at you, Gears of War Judgement).
Yea please no
So many people complain about the small changes added to this game like sprint. I don't think i could stand the moaning if a big change like classes were added.

The Halo sandbox has always been about empowering freedom, and to a certain extent, classes allow you to choose your style of play. But the beauty of Halo and the freedom it provides, is that the game allows you to experience everything in the sandbox everytime you spawn and only limit itself with the map that is played on.

Hey! Do you want to be a sniper?? I saw a sniper rifle laying on the back of the map, and further down lies an active camo that you could use.
Hey? Want to party up in a warthog? Grab your friends and arm up with plasma pistols to hijack the incoming enemy hog down at mid!
Hey! Want to be a tank assaulting the fronts? Go ahead, take the overshield below and grap yourself a saw or a chaingun turret and go ham!

To restrict gameplay elements for the sake of diversity and team dynamics is bad for halo, because that the structure that Halo games have do not gain from having such a system. Halo is the only game that can bring so many types of playstyles by having the sandbox in the playground, rather than selecting it in a menu. And with the HORRIBLE ui H5:G has, it just reinforces the fact that classes would not fit in a halo game. Hope I made some sense.
Thats a negative Ghostrider

Agreed
They tried class based Halo with H4. That didn't go over so well. I don't think it will return to that play style any time soon or ever.
But I don't want a Call of Halo game :(
No, please, No
These posts make me mad. No classes is the way to go!!!!
Absolutely no. For many reasons. Take your pick.
halo has not made classes now and why should they the people who are solo battlefield players will just think it is a copy. that would not be very good on their (halo's) record.

Classes for firefight sure, but for competitive multiplayer? No thanks
If Halo had classes it would be a Halo game.
When I think of a class system in Halo my mind goes to some sort of specialist option. For example there could be three classes Spartan, Elite, and ODST all of which have some corresponding ability or abilities such as Spartan are mainly the classic run and gun types Elites could be perhaps some sort of stealth fighters and ODST could be along the lines of tactical fighting with different ordinances or the heavy weapons users. They could accomplish something like this with everything that is already in the game, just some categorization of the available equipment and abilities currently in the game being needed. As well as maybe being able to have different cosmetic customizations for each class so everyone could outfit their Spartan, Elite, and ODST as they wish. Overall I know their is still a strong base of Halo fans such as myself but it is becoming more concentrated down to the loyalists and I don't wish to see this franchise go the way of the dodo anytime soon. I also wouldn't like it to lose its classic feel so I think that maybe some sort of mechanic such as this could help bring more people in as well as using the already known features in the game to keep us long time Halo fans happy.
I believe 343i has learned their mistake of using classes in H4. People don’t want it being a reskin of COD.
