We are always looking to add more Arena maps to Halo 5 matchmaking, and we want to see your creations! Before submitting your map, please check to make sure that it meets the Basic Map Requirements. This thread is a rolling submission thread, which means we will constantly be checking this thread for additional submissions. Take your time and submit when you're ready!

How do I submit my map?
Please submit your completed maps in this thread using the below formatting.
  • Map Name:

  • Game Mode: Slayer, CTF, Strongholds, Assault
  • Map Description: 1-3 sentences describing your map
  • Screenshot: Waypoint, XboxDVR, or Imgur link
  • Waypoint File Browser link
  • (Optional) Video: Waypoint, XboxDVR, or YouTube link
Be available for feedback
After your map is submitted, it will be reviewed by 343 Industries and community volunteers. While it is being reviewed, we will be looking for any map issues that will impact gameplay: player containment, incorrect spawn points, misplaced kill barriers, unruly geometry, etc. If any revisions are required to get your map ready for matchmaking, you will be contacted with feedback. To ensure your map is ready for matchmaking, please use this Basic Map Requirements checklist.

Map Description: Fight on the edge of east Metropolis as chaos spreads! This slayer map hosts a lot of options to flank the enemy from the alleys and the stores. From traveling across the greenery to looking upon the tower, this map shows aesthetic features as well as being a competitive map.

Map Description: White Cell is a symmetrical arena map. Its design is inspired by Haven from Halo 4. The layout is easy to grasp and gameplay is always fast paced and fluid for 4v4.

  • Map Description: An asymmetric map set in a sun-soaked forerunner temple. Ethereal has been a real labour of love. Assuredly sticking (perhaps somewhat stubbornly) to a more "old-school" approach to Halo map design, it boasts powerful sightlines and sneaky routes - plays exceptionally well for Strongholds.

  • Map Description: Aqueduct is a symmetrical Arena map that takes place in a grimy sewer system. The overall layout is an oval connecting the 2 bases with a lane down the center of the map that is both a chokepoint but faster path for objective game modes.

The fight is set before the building is officially open to the public, so the bridges and catwalks aren't regarded as safe just yet. Thus, the vertical bridge battles from the classic map are reborn with a fresh aesthetic twist.
