I have an update on my Halo 2 Backwash remake! So far, things are coming along a bit slower than I thought, MAINLY because of the freakin middle base!!! I've gone over numerous designs with it, but I'm finally getting an idea of what I want.

On the old Backwash, the middle building had 2 floors, having a 4-way entrance on both levels. With Halo 5, I've decided to have 2 of the 4-way entrances on the second level be just a little higher than the other, providing an advantage point to those areas the 2 paths are directed at. It requires a jump and ledge grab to get to both of them.

Along with new additions, I've made the middle pillar that glows yellow on Backwash actually spin like it is running on a gear, those still in very early beta form.

I also have screenshots of both red and blue bases, with some additional screenshots of the map with/ without the classic green Backwash fog. There is also a screenshot of the first couple of trees I've put into the map (created with multiple logs and one up-side down pine tree to make it seem like the trees in Halo 2)

Like I said, This is EAAAARLY Development, and also one of my first few forge remakes I've done, so it's a lengthy process. Anyone is welcome to give their advice, or if you want to help, you can add me and join me in developing this map! ^_^
Need a good Guardian remake and Lockout remake scaled up a wee bit to compensate for the Thrusters and sprint.

What's the brightest map to forge indoor maps on? I started my Anchor 9 on the space map and wow it's dark as hell even with the Nova filter on. I was to restart on a whole new canvas.

Also, save your maps often people. Your Forge inactivity is timed, so going AFK can boot you back to the menu without saving.
It's not a halo map, but i'm working in Morpheus from Unreal.
It's working fine with the new thrusters mecanics -- IMHO better than with low gravity.

Does anyone have remake of the day map from halo reach? I know reach is backwards compatible but I want to play it on halo 5. If you have any type of remake message me.
just finished a remake of a halo 3 map on sandbox not sure of the name but it had multiple warthogs and a kill ball in the middle and you would try to push everyone off and be the last man standing gt:fireskull72

try working with the new light fx that will brighten your map up

I randomly began an ODST-style Turf remake, and am almost done with the map itself. Having a bit of a problem with the lighting limit, but I should be ok.
A few days into the December update and already HALO 5's forge is making history <3

Or should I say remaking history ;)
Burial Mounds is now officially underway. Decided to use the Alpine canvass instead of Parallax, since the terrain colors on Alpine look a bit more like the original BM when using the sunset skybox. If you check it out, keep in mind I'm only using placeholder stuff at this point. The cliffs and ribs and all that are going to be redone throughout the process. For updated aesthetics, I'll probably be studying the BTB forge maps and also Wreckage from H4.

Out of interest though, is it just a glitch with my game, or does it automatically set your armour to FOTUS when you're in Forge? Because seriously, I hate that. I much prefer the look of my own armour...
Same, I would sometimes accidently die while forging (ex. Crashing into fusion coils) and see my body in FOTUS armor.
Just finished remaking lockout/blackout. Its a very simple yet good remake/reimagine and includes a special guest on her wrecking ball.

I'm working on a version of the Halo:CE map Sidewinder.
I remade beaver creek. Everything's to scale, every old jump. and every restriction the old halos had with the new spartan abilities In mind. Unfortunately no water in the middle because its not a forge option and I needed basements...Sight lines were kept in mind when also creating this..Let me know what everyone thinks

Looks nice! I haven't been able to play a match on it yet but it looks good :) I made intros for you if you want to use them! I had to take a break from Ivory Tower before I go crazy haha. (I also set up Outros but I don't think they work for some reason :'( )
