Backwards Compatibility Question

OP BoundlessHalo97

Halo 4 on the Xbox 360 came with two discs with one of them containing campaign and the other being a multiplayer installation disc. When you go to install Halo 4 on an Xbox One do you need to install both discs or is it just the campaign disc? I assume that you only need the one disc as backwards compatibility is handled via digital downloads, but you never know.
You only need disc 1 and everything gets downloaded as one file/game. I’m sure you’re aware, but the reason there were two discs for Halo 4 was because multiplayer needed a mandatory content install/download. The content is available on disc 2 and as a free download on the Marketplace. Disc 1 and 2 then worked collaboratively to deliver the entire experience.

However, that’s not necessary on One since everything is handled as one file. Additionally, disc 1 is the one with value and is the only one needed to prove ownership to start the installation.
