Just popping in to ask, can I get specific armour instead of gambling? I want to record a Machinima with my friend, but I would like the Mark IV to keep consistency. Is there anyway I can skip the middleman and just buy the Mark IV?

Unfortunately, no. You have to gamble with either REQ points or real money (don't do this). There are fewer than 5 sets of armor you can unlock by meeting in-game requirements.
