Problems with Xbox One? Halo 5? Read this.

OP NEXUS NX

If you are having problems with your Xbox One in general, here is how to help fix most problems.

1. Xbox Rest
  • Press and hold the Xbox One power button until the Xbox turns off completely
  • Wait for 1 - 2 minutes until the Xbox stops running
  • Unplug the Xbox One power cord from the Xbox
  • Turn off or unplug the power cord from the wall / outlet
  • Wait until the light on the power-brick goes out
  • Then wait 30 seconds
  • Plug the power cord back in, and turn on your Xbox
I am not guaranteeing anything, but this usually fixes internet glitches, game fezzes and more.

2. Halo 5
  • No data, missing armour, rank, etc - This is because of a Data Sync issue. Exit from Halo 5 and make sure you have exited the game on the Xbox dashboard as well. Then load up the game again and make sure to wait for the 'Syncing Data' pop-up to disappear. If it has not come up, click to see the message of the day and it will usually sync your data then.
  • Online and Multiplayer Problems - If you keep having connection issues, it is best to exit Halo 5 and exit the game from the dashboard, then go to the settings and go to the internet settings. Then change your Xbox to be 'offline' and disconnect from your internet. Then, start up Halo 5 offline, and then go to the dashboard and reconnect your internet to your Xbox, then go back to Halo 5 and exit and re-launch Halo 5.
I am not guaranteeing anything, but this usually fixes internet glitches, game fezzes and more, but any other problems, please contact xbox support.

Other things, is to make sure that your XBOX nat is set to open. You will have to play with your router setting to make this happen.
Also using a hard line to the router, wifi can cause problems with the connection.
