9.8.2016 - Known Issues
  • Make sure to set your sharing settings on Xbox.com for “Share stuff people make” to Everybody. If this setting is set to Blocked you will not be able to see any User Generated Content.
  • Text entry fields may occasionally appear non-functional. If you cannot click into a text field, the field may not have focus. Try clicking away and clicking back into that field.
  • Do not use special characters when saving and naming your Forge creations. If you use special characters or characters that are unsupported in your set language in your map names, they will show up as "????".
  • Accepting an invite to Forge while in the tutorial may causes a join in progress error or long waiting time. If you encounter this, exit the Tutorial, and then try sending or receiving the invite again.
  • If you encounter a black loading screen while starting a Custom Game while in a fireteam, and you are the only one on the fireteam who hasn't progressed past that screen, try hitting the pause button (ESC or pause on the menu button on the controller), and you will be able to progress past this screen.
  • When the player Saves a Copy of a custom Game Mode, the custom settings will not be saved
  • If you've filled all three save slots for custom filters in the content browser, you will not be able to edit or save changes to any of those saved filters.
I cant access any "FEATURED, MOST LIKED, MY FILES or SEARCH" maps or gametypes, it enters the menu and the only thing I see is "seaching..." in the middle of the menu. It never loads, not even the maps I have created appear, just stays on "searching..."
HELLO??? Is anyone actually going to respond to some of the issues in this "support" forum? I cant download the Forge tool, the download just keeps stopping and I've already determined its not connection, and also the Halo app wont launch. As soon as it opens to the sign in screen it immediately closes and I cant use it regardless of what I try. How many more times do I have to write this in the "support" forum until someone actual does something? Jesus man
Can you guys Explain any of these errors or the actual main issues people are getting? Maybe how like a lot of us cant even PLAY the game??
Some scripted maps completely fail or scripting with triggered events are triggered too early or do not work at all. Button scripting also sometimes don't work or work earlier than expected.
Game modes break if you promote someone else to party leader.

EDIT:
AMD Phenom II X6 CPUs apparently don't reach the requirements. Someone who has reported that he couldn't get past the error code 0x8000001 on this exact forum's support had this type of CPU and my friend's Phenom II X6 1090T was not able to run this game past that error code.

EDIT 2:
Seems like it's a AMD Phenom II issue, not just the X6's. Proof of another player not being able to run the game with this similar CPU.

EDIT 3 (09/10/16 12:55 AM EST):
http://support.xbox.com/en-US/games/game-titles/halo-5-forge-windows-10-help
seems like those with CPUs that don't support SSE 4.1 won't be able to play this game!
Please support CPUs that don't support SSE 4.1 or allow them to click continue and proceed to play the game! As of right now, it doesn't allow them to click continue and it closes the game before they are able to see if the game is playable on their system!
I'm one of the unfortunate people that can't play the game. 0x80070005 whenever I try to download the game from the store. Immensely disappointed that I can't experience halo 5 forge now. Only the Halo App and Halo 5 Forge do it in the store, no other app does.
I can't download either it keeps stopping and i get this error 0x80073cf9
Found a Blue-screen/complete Pc crash bug, when you move the window over to a second monitor then maximize the window, it blue-screen crashes.

Also, a friend of mine is having the incompatible hardware bug when he should be easily able to run it. Why make the game not even be able to run on anything except what you think should only be able to run it?

Windows 10 Aniversary
Intel 6700k
Nvidia GTX 780
Hello,

When starting the game everything is fine. I was able to download, install, and play the tutorial. However, when I try to start a lobby or join others, I get a network error that it seems no one else is getting. When I join a lobby with other people, the host is met with the same error and they cannot continue unless I leave. After I leave, they are able to play. EDIT: I'd like to not I've tried rebooting, restarting the app, reinstalling the app, switching the firewall on and off, among other things. I live on-campus at a college, for what it's worth.

This is the error: http://i.imgur.com/VxDtzls.png

My specs are as below:

Windows 10 Anniversary
Intel 2500k
Nvidia GTX 970
Please do try and keep this thread clear for bug reports only thanks, general support requests should go in their own thread or a dedicated thread if 343 have designated one for tracking issues, thanks.

This is the same problem I'm having can't get past it, I've changed ports turned off firewalls etc nothing.
Ok serious issue. I'm not experiencing it but needs to be adressed asap. Sure you know summit1g? Huge streamer, now he was streaming halo 5 on forge and was having huge issues with frame and input lag, etc. now if his 10k PC has that kind of issues than how is everyone else meant to play. That guy us a potential advertisment market due to hus reach. So please i beg of you, optmise halo 5 forge and fix these frames and input issues asap. As soon as possible. Honestly you'd only make more people angry and give fuel to anti 343 people if you take your time. And also thanks for everything!!
Apparently this is a firewall issue. Need a fix that doesn't require taking down the firewall. See more info here:

When ever I try loading a map I'll get a Connection Lost error. Screenshot here:

Eventually, I'll get a Profile Sync Error. Screenshot here:

I have 2 Xbox Ones with 8 profiles across them in order to play 4 vs 4 Halo MCC. Not sure if this is causing a profile issue on the server side. Cannot get a map to load regardless of the profile. As a big Halo fan, hoping this gets worked out.

My PC specs meet the recommended specs. I can play tutorial, but I get the Profile Sync error when I first get to spawn as a spartan. A few people have reported the same issue here:

16:10 rendering stretches the image, instead of rendering in the correct aspect ratio:

Setting = 1920x1080. Screen is letterboxed on my 1920x1200 monitor, proper aspect ratio can be seen in the reticle and radar

Setting = 1920x1200. Screen is not letterboxed, takes up the full screen, but the aspect ratio is stretched, again, most noticeable on the reticle and radar

BUG REPORT
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Error Code: 0x80000001
Screen capture of error:http://imgur.com/GPpk5F8
Description: Despite having the latest Nvidia driver and a fresh copy of Windows 10 x64 Anniversary I get a minimum system requirements error

System Specs:
Windows 10 x64 Anniversary
Pheonom II x6 @ 3.3
GTX 760 2GB @ 3.0
8GB DDR3

Screen capture of system specs: http://imgur.com/a/CbiAu
Even though my specs meet the minimum system requirements, I keep getting error code: 0x80000001. After I press 'Continue', the game just crashes. Needs a fix please.
I'm also getting the 0x80000001 error
I also have an AMD Phenom II x6 processor and it should be able to run this game.
Hopefully Microsoft and 3feur3 can resolve this, or at least give us a statement, clarity would be refreshing.
I've got the error code : 0x80000001
I've got the minimum system requirements:

Windows 10 x64 Anniversary
Intel Core 2 Duo Processor E8400 @ 3.0GHz
GTX 750 Ti 2GB
8GB memory
Same Error code : 0x80000001
Windows 10 x64 Anniversary
Intel Core 2 Quad q6600
GTX 650 Ti 2GB
6GB memory

NOTE: I think it might be the missing SSE4.1 Instruction Set on Older CPUs that causes this Crash
