Halo:CE, Whats up with 30 FPS locked animations?

OP WillyMcFly

Ive noticed something terrible in cutscenes, all the cutscenes seem to be running at 30FPS but the camera is running at 60+ FPS. Like animations in cutscenes are at 30 FPS while the game and camera is well over 60 + FPS.

This needs to be addressed ASAP. It looks Horrendous.
It isn't to hard to fix either. Modders for Halo Custom edition made a mod that unlocked all the framerates on all animations.

Please bring awareness to this.
Thank you.
This is mainly the fault of Gearbox software's pc port where the cutscenes are locked at 30 FPS. I really hope this gets fixed though
I kind of like it. Somewhat of a subtle gesture to its roots.

Except the animations in the original game didn't look that bad, because, you know, the game and animations were synchronized.

That makes no sense, as mind as well lock the entire game to 30 FPS and play it at 480p.
Yeah I've noticed it also, it's locked at 30 fps and cutscenes are weird and glitchy too.
It's also problematic when your riding shotgun in a hog.

Yeah me too it sucks a little bit.
They were already modded to 60FPS+ on original CE PC release, so shouldn't be problem to fix them in MCC.
