I don't listen to music, I just let random anime intro music loop in my head over and over and over and over and over again.
Why would you subject yourself to that kind of torture?
I wouldn't really call it torture. I actually like most of them. Torture is endlessly looping One Direction and Justin Bieber in your head. Lately, it's mainly been A Cruel Angel's Thesis from Neon Genesis Evangelion, as well as Daybreak's Bell from Mobile Suit Gundam 00. There's a couple other ones floating around in my mind, like a few Transformersintros, the intro from SDF Macross, etc. I could list them all, but I'd probably bore someone in the process.
I use to listen to NGE's OST while I played. Decisive Battle was always one of my favorites.
Been a while since I last watched NGE, so the only track that I can remember is the opening. I'm considering getting back into it later this year, though I'm not sure I'm prepared to go on the trip that the show is. The last two episodes confused the -Yoink- out of me.

It is a trip. That's for sure. Just don't even acknowledge the last episodes and just watch the End of Eva movie, which is the true ending.

You forgot "Dancing in the Streets", man.

Glad to see this topic has taken off! For me, it depends on how I'm feeling. Here's a fraction of what I would listen to:
I listen to more modern (often indie) music aswell. It'd be too tedious to link to 'em sadly.
Dance gavin dance. Just them, no one else

Dancing in the streets is above Elvis Presley bro though you did list somgs I wanted to list but didn't.Especally Sweet o Child of Mine.

And I also love Queen's Tie your mother down
AC/DC, Queen, etc. xD
Two steps from hell. Tons of awesome instrumental music that puts me in the mood to kick butt.
I don't listen to music in any areana game modes for competitive purposes. I listen to kenny chesney when I forge, and bo burnham when Im in war zone firefight.

Any sort of soundtrack. I have a playlist of about 80 or so that I just have on repeat in the background, but I am always adding more. I can't listen to anything with lyrics because I find it too distracting.
Same here. Actually I generally don't like music with lyrics at all, which makes me weird. Would you mind sharing some of your favorite songs?
I don't really have any favourites.
If I watch a series/movie or play a game that I enjoy the soundtracks in, I just add them to the playlist, so by now if I enjoy one more than another I would have no idea what its name is.
Although the most recent additions I have made is the rest of the Halo 5 soundtracks and the soundtracks from Log Horizon season 1.
Two Steps From Hell while my Tank army is killing the enemy in Halo Wars
Halo already has a pretty great soundtrack, although I turned off the menu music because it gets repetitive when I play it so often, so I guess I don't actually listen to anything in Halo MP (turn the music back on for campaign though). I know that during my gaming binges in BF4 I would often stream those hour-long trance mixes on YouTube pretty regularly because they were calming and flowed well over the course of a long match.

Sure thing, mate. I'm also including a couple OSTs I like listening to as well. I typically like soundtracks and electronic music more than lyrical/radio music because it flows a lot more smoothly over a long play session without really interrupting you, while radio music switches every 3-4 minutes so it feels more choppy. Anyway, here are a few to get you started:

[Mirror's Edge OST]
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y05wiQQbFLU

[Deus Ex: Human Revolution OST]
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tyG6YMLEWus

[Halo 4 Main Menu Extended Mix]
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lrg6fdSVtrM

[Vocal Trance Mix]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qagNEtjK5Cw

If you'd like to do more of the last item, I'd highly suggest hitting up the PARADISE and Mr Suicide Sheep channels, because those are my go-tos for this kind of thing :)

Carnival Youth - Brown Eyes And All The Rest

Song of the week for me, when playing Halo anyway.
Blink 182, Halo Soundtracks, and instrumentals!
Either Halo Theme Mjolnir Mix or Sepiks Redux from Destiny
