Grifball Playoffs rundown

The Grifball Pro Circuit began four months ago as twelve captains picked their teams and took to the court for eight weeks of competitive Grifball. Now the regular season has come to a close, and it’s time for playoffs!

Six teams have made it to the post-season and will compete not only for the $500 cash prize, but the ultimate reward in competitive Grifball: An AGLA Pro Circuit Championship.

Here’s a breakdown of the remaining playoff action going down at Twitch.TV/GrifballHub:

Hammer Conference Championship

Tuesday, May 12, 10:00PM EDT
Legitimate Strategy vs. Hybrid Theory

Sword Conference Championship

Wednesday, May 13, 10:00PM EDT
One Hit Wonders vs. Retroactive

To close out the season, the final series of the AGLA Pro Circuit will take place on Wednesday May 20 at 10:00PM ET. The top team from the Sword Conference will take on the top team from the Hammer Conference in a best-of-three series to determine the ultimate champions and the winner of the $500 cash prize.

Sixteen teams took to Xbox Live in the online round of the Summer Qualifier to narrow the field down to the top eight teams in the North American region. These eight teams are now on their way to Burbank, California to compete at the ESL studio on May 8. From there, they will battle it out in double elimination groups with the top four teams punching their tickets to the HCS Pro League for the Summer 2016 Season.
