Content Creators Wave 3

By -

Since the HCS Grassroots program was announced, it’s been amazing to see just how many people in the community are continuing to produce content, and how many are starting out for the first time. In February, we revealed which content creators were accepted into the HCS Grassroots program in Wave 2. For Wave 3, we received hundreds of applications and after reviewing each and every one of them, we’ve narrowed down the list to just four.

Let’s meet the content creators!

WAVE 3 CONTENT CREATORS

SAIYAN

If you’ve been watching the HCS, then you’ve seen Saiyan snipe and slay his way up the professional scene for the last few years. With Saiyan’s primary focus now on creating content, Saiyan has impressed his fans day in and day out providing high level Halo 5 gameplay!

RECLAIMER

Boasting fun and high-level gameplay on Twitch and YouTube has seen Reclaimer make a name for himself in the Halo scene. As an HCS Grassroots partner, we can’t wait to see him grow both his audience and as an entertainer!

ISHII

This Seattle-native is most known for his YouTube montages where no-scope Overkills are the minimum. With a mix of FFA, Team Snipers, and Social playlists, Ishii provides high-level play in a variety of modes for his stream.

If you’ve ever thought to yourself, “How the heck did Roy do that?!” then Shyway has you covered. Providing in-depth analysis of pro-level play and tactics, Shyway has been educating his fans for years. You can also watch Shyway perform these high-level plays himself on his live stream on Twitch as well, and as the host of the HCS Weekly show by UGC.

NEXT APPLICATION WINDOW

If you didn’t make it into Wave 3, don’t give up! The HCS Grassroots program is an important part of the future of the Halo esports ecosystem. We believe it’s important we nurture its growth slowly and build it over a long period of time, expanding organically as we get closer to Halo Infinite’s launch and beyond. Our plan is to continue to accept applications and keep growing our network.

The next application window will be open from July 1 at 12PM PT to July 31 at 12PM PT.

Continue to innovate and entertain and be sure to apply once the window opens again. As always, thank you to everyone for your continued support of each other and the HCS Grassroots program. For all the latest on the Halo Championship Series, keep it locked to Halo.gg and follow @HCS on Twitter.
