Hey there, I'm Idio! Basically, I've been around Halo for a good long while, played all the games, read the books, know the community, and most importantly of all I can aim a BR at someones head if required. I find Halo fascinating, and if there's one thing in the world that I'm able to say I nerd out over it'd have to be Halo. The gameplay, lore, soundtrack, and community have kept me on board the series for over a decade, and as Sergeant Johnson once said, I'm most certainly the "hardest of the hardcore" of the Halo fan base. I'm a speed runner, LASO go'er, avid forger, Slayer when needed, support whenever, and I will shoot and scoot 'till I keel over-- so I'd suggest shooting at me first. Past all that though I am currently working as: QA Lead at Slugfest Studios on "Sins of the Prophets"; QA Lead/Lead Writer at 363 Productions on "Evolutions: Real Time Strategy Evolved"; QA Tester at Prolific Studios on "Dawn of the Reapers"; QA Tester at SoGE Development Team on "Sins of a Galactic Empire"; Community Manager for Phoenix of War, and Blades & Roses; ONI.SEC3 OP;
I enjoy Halo (No duh), Deus Ex, Dead Space, Half Life, Mass Effect, |Insert other SciFi games here|. I'm an avid gamer, and always have been. I enjoy any type of game, and don't care whether it's a shooter, or platformer; as long as it has a deep compelling story, well designed gameplay, and a fantastic soundtrack I'll play it. I love music, and when a game has a OST that can make me cry at its beauty then it's sure to go down in my all time favorites, and that's what Halo did for me, alongside being superbly addicting, when I first played Halo 2 (And before you say it, YES Halo TWO was my first Halo game, not CE) over 10 years ago. I was involved in "I Love Bees" the Halo 2 ARG, and that's really, technically speaking, my first experience with Halo. Soon after that, when Halo 2 was released I made sure to play Halo Combat Evolved, and read the books, so I could become more invested in the universe. Before Halo 3 came out I was also active for the "Iris" ARG. Prior (And following) Halo 4's release I was, and still am, active within the Glyph ARG based around Halo Waypoint, and the central IRC chat that we use. I also spent quite a bit of my time being the main source for the #HUNTtheTRUTH online Podcast, and marketing campaign, writing transcripts, synopsis's, and analysis's of all of its content. I've spent more time playing Halo games than I'd like to admit to... It's been a good 10 years.

For Gamers, by Gamers!
"For Gamers, By Gamers"... This has been our motto for over ten years, since our inception, and we plan to keep it that way. Join us on our daily escapades, our many events, community battles, and more, in Phoenix of War. We welcome any and all, but only those who are dedicated may stay in our ranks.
Still not convinced? Hrm... Perhaps we should try a tad bit harder!
Phoenix of War has been around since the days of Halo 2, and we've been playing games as a community ever since our founding. The basis of our community lies upon our motto "For Gamers, by Gamers!" and through it we strive to be the most open community for everyone, yet still provide plenty of room for skilled players by having segments for those who are only casual players, to people who are the hardest of the hardcore.
We're organized, scheduling events as often as we can to keep our members active within our ranks, with incentive systems in place so that even when we're not doing anything you can still be advancing within our roster; either through bettering your stats alongside other members, attending our events, being active within the community, or by bringing on your friends to join our community.
We don't ask you to waste your money to change your screen name, we don't force you to attend events if you don't want to, and we won't threaten you if you're busy like many other clans do; However this does not mean that being completely inactive is acceptable, which is why we regularly go through the entire roster of members, no matter how many there may be, and systematically make sure that we have an entire community of members within our standards, who are active enough to be a part of it.
We do as much as possible to keep our members active, from making sure their leaders are willing to do what it takes to make sure their members are satisfied within our community, to setting up events such as tournaments, give-away's, battles, skirmishes, and more. When we're not busy running events we're making sure we're still active with game nights, training, practice, open lobbies, etc.
If you're honestly looking for a group of gamer's to join up with in Halo 5, look no further than right here, because we're dedicated to our cause of being one of the greatest gaming communities around.
If you're interested in joining we do have a couple of base standards for our Halo 5: Guardians division, so make sure you're:
- Above the age of sixteen
- Willing to help in our cause of world domination alongside 343 Industries
Standard, default, messages WILL BE IGNORED; please put some effort into your application, and tell us about yourself if applying.
If you've got what it takes to join into our ranks we'll contact you, and get you started for our division in Halo 5: Guardians. If you still have questions about Phoenix of War, feel free to ask us, and we'll respond as quickly as possible.
