Nobody knows until 343 reveals more details about the game. But so far 343 has revealed nothing but good things so far with the exception of req packs (or some form of micro transactions) returning.

No game has ever caused Halo to decline. Halo caused Halo to decline. As soon as 343 puts out a game that is loved by the majority like the original trilogy was then you’ll see a reemergence of Halo once again.
