  1. I've actually been enjoying the weapon tweaks in the few games I've played thus far. Looking forward to continuing the experience and getting a better feel for the differences.

  2. I loved the sound of the assault rifle in Halo CE. I also like the sound of the energy sword coming to life in Halo 2. Also didn't much care for the warthog sound in Halo 4, but, whatever.

  3. Buy the silver packs first until you run out of things to unlock from the silver packs. Otherwise you'll just end up unlocking those same items via the gold packs, which cost twice as much as the silver packs. Does that make sense?

  4. Annoying things

Halo 5: Guardians - Posted By QStephan On

That moment when you're playing Warzone (particularly Assault or Firefight) and your objective is to defend the base. It's a tough fight, you've died (perhaps a few times), and you're just now spawning in again. You sprint as fast as you...

I'm so glad they made this change. Now maybe I can actually shoot the darn thing....

  6. Whenever I'm playing with/teaching people how to play Halo, I always advise them of two things. 1. It's a motion tracker, not a radar. They won't show up if they're not moving or crouched. Likewise, you won't show up if you're not...

  7. As for the exp/rank penalties for quitters... you proceed under the assumption that all players care about SR and CSR. I could be wrong, but I think that's a mistaken assumption. I also think that in a way you'd be baiting people into bad...

  8. I don't think it will. H3 was awesome in it's day but has aged the absolute worse out of all the Halo games IMO. It just doesn't play well at all now. H2 and even HCE plays better then it does. I am glad they are bringing backwards...

  9. Halo 2 campaign location

Legacy Halo - Posted By QStephan On

It's the gas giant the ring was orbiting in Halo: CE. Thanks a lot! More specifically, it is a Forerunner gas mining facility (think Cloud City from Star Wars) in the atmosphere of the gas giant Threshold. The broken Halo ring above is misleading...

  10. I would surmise that Mythic firefight tends to attract noobs because it offers the greatest amount of req points. If you win (though who actually wins that game?) you get a nice 5000 req points for your troubles. Otherwise you get something like 3500 or...
