The Grand Canyon

One of the elements which helps define the Halo experience is the series' indelibly impressive encounters. Time and time again, we've seen Bungie craft some amazing engagements between the player and the non-player characters around him.

In "Vintage Fisticuffs," Halo Waypoint looks at some of the most remarkable combat moments across all Halo shooters, delving into their individual parts and breaking down the different ways players can approach them.

First up on our list? Halo: Combat Evolved's level "Two Betrayals," a campaign mission which holds a great deal of sway with the hardcore fans and their deep-seated nostalgia. Our first stop is a little place we like to call "The Grand Canyon."
