The HCS Open @ DreamHack Dallas kicks off on May 23-25th, the second event of the 2025 season that will reward HCS points!



Things are off to a hot start already and we can’t wait to be back at DreamHack for what’s shaping up to be one of the best HCS DreamHack events we’ve ever seen – let’s get into the details.

Since Dreamhack hosts many different games and experiences outside of just HCS, we’ve had to make some ticketing alterations. Here’s how it all breaks down:

<li>General Admission: $99/per Person – Grants access to the entire DreamHack event for all 3 days.</li>



<li>Team Pass: $299/per Team – Includes (4) Players and (1) Coach. Grants access to the entire DreamHack event for all 3 days.</li>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Team Pass: $299 +fees/tax</h2>



In order to complete your team pass transaction, you must sign up with your FULL TEAM! All players will need a <a href="https://t.co/LREo6xnHPo" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Start.gg</a> account to be added to the roster.

The HCS Open @ DreamHack Dallas will be a tried-and-true HCS event with the normal three components:



<ul>
<li>Pool Play for qualifying teams.</li>



<li>Open Bracket for any team to sign up and make it to Pool Play.</li>



<li>Championship Bracket for the best teams from Pool Play.</li>
</ul>

<li>1st & 2nd in Pools go to Winners Round 1</li>

We’ll start with (48) teams in the Open Bracket, then the Top (4) teams will advance to Pool Play which will feature (16) total teams. Pool Play breaks down as follows:

Teams will qualify for the HCS Dallas Open in (2) ways: HCS Dallas Qualifiers, or HCS Point Totals.

Too often have we all gazed upon the playlists and wistfully longed for the mashup of our dreams – Husky Raid and Assault. Today, our dreams come true. We’re mixing the bombastic chaos of Husky Raid with the strategy of tactical Assault. We call it…Husky Assault. (Betcha didn’t see that coming.)

The linear and somewhat claustrophobic nature of Husky Raid makes for thrilling and exciting games of Capture the Flag. That action gets flipped head over heels with the introduction of Assault. Now you’ll have to work together as a team to battle for the (neutral) bomb then escort your carrier to the base and allow them to plant the bomb… drive a wedge through the enemy lines, and try not to get left behind as the intensity of  Husky Raid rages all around you.



A new map is also joining the pantheon of tried-and-true Husky Raids:

October 24-26, the Halo World Championship is once again coming home to Seattle, Washington!



The Halo World Championship will determine not only who gets the lion’s share of the $1,000,000 prize pool but, more importantly, the title of the best Halo team in the entire world! And once again, the HaloWC is the home for all fans in the Halo community, not just HCS fans. Your team earns points by dropping enemy Grunts or Spartans. First to 100 points wins the round, and the first team that wins three rounds claims victory.



If you’re brave enough, you can end the round instantly by assaulting the enemy’s AI-construct champion.
