The Halo World Championship 2025 marked the epic conclusion of official Halo Infinite competition in the HCS.
Over 3 intense days of action, the top 16 teams battled for their share of $1,000,000 with Shopify Rebellion emerging as the final Halo Infinite World Champions. Congratulations Cykul, Frosty, Last Shot, Royal2, and coach Best Man!
From the reveal of Halo: Campaign Evolved to incredible cosplay and the electric energy of the crowd, HaloWC 2025 was the perfect send-off to an amazing era of Halo esports.

What's Next?
Earlier in the summer we announced that the 2025 season would be the final year for official HCS competition on Halo Infinite, and at HaloWC we announced some more information about what competitors can expect next year.
For 2026, we’re partnering with key members of the esports ecosystem and community to host Halo Infinite competitions and even one of our own!

DAY 1 HIGHLIGHTS
Day 1 Headlines:
- Shopify Rebellion and OpTic Gaming win their Pools 3-0.
- The Cloud9 underdogs upset FaZe Clan in a 3-2 series to win Pool B.
- Complexity sweeps TSM in Pool C to secure a Winners Bracket start.
- In Pool D, Unreal Nightmare sweeps Omit and upsets Spacestation in a 3-2 series.
- A 3-way tie in Pool D ends with Envy taking the top spot.
- Omit, Majin Club, SWAT Latam, and Legion Esports bow out at Top 16.
DAY 2 HIGHLIGHTS
Day 2 Headlines:
- Shopify Rebellion stumbles in Winners Round 1 as FaZe Clan take them to Game 5, but they close it out and move on to sweep Complexity for a spot in the Winners Finals.
- Complexity defeats Envy 3-1 in Winners Round 1, but falls to Shopify Rebellion in the Winners Semifinals.
- OpTic Gaming sweeps Spacestation in Winners Round 1, and are nearly upset by Cloud9 in the Winners Semifinals.
- Cloud9 sweeps Luminon Gaming in Winners Round 1 before taking OpTic Gaming to Game 5 in the Winners Semifinals.
- TSM eliminates FaZe Clan in Elim. Round 1 before falling short to Envy in Elim. Round 2.
- Envy goes on an Elimination Bracket run as they eliminate Akave Esports, TSM, and Cloud9 for a spot in the Elim. Semifinals.
- On the other side of the Elimination Bracket, Luminon Gaming goes on a run of their own as they eliminate Unreal Nightmare, Spacestation, and Complexity for a spot in the Elim. Semifinals.
- Spacestation eliminates Mindfreak in Elim. Round 1 before getting swept by Luminon Gaming in Elim. Round 2.
- FaZe Clan, Akave Esports, Mindfreak, Unreal Nightmare all exit at Top 12.
- TSM and Spacestation finish at Top 8.
- Cloud9 and Complexity end their runs at Top 6.
DAY 3 HIGHLIGHTS
Day 3 Headlines:
- All Championship Sunday matches were Best-of-7 series'!
- Envy eliminates Luminon Gaming 4-1 before getting swept 4-0 by OpTic Gaming.
- Shopify Rebellion sends OpTic Gaming to the Elimination Bracket with a 4-1 victory in the Winners Finals.
- OpTic Gaming sweeps Envy before falling to Shopify Rebellion 4-1 in the Grand Finale.
- Europe's Luminon Gaming take Top 4, making history as the highest placing non-NA team at a Halo World Championship.
- Envy leave it all out on the battlefield as they secure Top 3 and a podium finish at HaloWC 2025.
- OpTic Gaming make another HaloWC Grand Final, but ultimately walk away as the runner-up.
- Shopify Rebellion etch their names in history as they become the final Halo Infinite World Champions.
