<p>Action Sack is the playlist where the rules are a little less clear per mode because it’s not as straightforward as “First to 50 wins.” This playlist is made up of several different Free-For-All minigames that will leave you laughing. Baptism by fire is the best way to learn!</p>

<p>The goal is to get from point A to point B without losing your hat to the sniper in the middle of the ring. Dodge, duck, dip, dive, and dodge your way to the end!</p>

<p>This deceptively easy mode has you driving a Mongoose along a narrow path that curves around in a large circle. The catch? You’re going to be dodging SPNKr rounds from the player that is “it” so don’t fall off the edge. Get on your Mongoose and ride!</p>

<p>If you’ve played a certain popular free-for-all game where the goal is to avoid falling over, then you’ve likely played Hex-A-Gone before. As you walk across each tile, it’ll fall so hop from tile to tile, avoid falling to the next level as long as you can. Think “the floor is lava” style.</p>

<p>It’s a maze so you’re bound to get turned around and lost but that’s okay. There is no prize or goal at the center…you’re just avoiding the Spartan with the Gravity Hammer and trying to be the last one standing.</p>

HCS Off-Season 2024

Brute Force Operation Launch


<p>When it was introduced to matchmaking in <em>Halo 5</em>, Castle Wars quickly became a fan favorite. The large-scale assault on the enemy’s base to grab the flag led to high-risk, high reward plays that kept us all coming back for more.</p>



<p>And that’s why we’re excited to see Castle Wars added to <em>Halo Infinite</em>!</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading has-huge-font-size"><strong>THE BASE-ICS</strong></h2>



<p>It’s an amped up version of 8v8 Capture the Flag that necessitates your team breaking through the defenses of the opponent’s heavily fortified castles.</p>



<p>Grab their flag and make your way back to your base to score while dodging the oncoming horde of enemy Spartans.</p>



<p>Everyone is equipped with an Energy Sword and a Grappleshot. As a bonus, you can use your Grapple while holding the Flag, so beware the sneaky fly-bys.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading has-huge-font-size"><strong>MY KINGDOM FOR A CASTLE</strong></h2>



<p>You can’t have Castle Wars without the castles, so let’s check out the fortresses you’ll be assaulting! Also, huge thank you to erickyboo for creating the mode and one or two of the maps.</p>

<p>Forget about the conventional arsenal of weapons; in Snowball Fight, the battlefield is ruled by the infinite supply of plasma grenades. Dip, dodge, and duck other team’s plasmas while launching your own. This is a team-based race to 50 so be sure to watch your teammate’s back too! As a bonus, you’ll be doing all this in Third-Person so you get the additional thrill of watching “snowballs” whiz by you as you enter the fray.</p>

<p><strong><a href="http://twitter.com/spacestation">Spacestation</a></strong> reclaimed their place at the top, defeating <strong><a href="http://twitter.com/optic">OpTic Gaming</a></strong> in the Grand Finals to secure another Major title.</p>



<p>Meanwhile, <strong><a href="http://twitter.com/shopifyrebels">Shopify Rebellion</a></strong> cemented their place among the top teams with their second 3rd place finish in a row, and <strong>Team Pure</strong> surprised many with a breakout Top 4 performance!</p>

<p>The Halo community converged in Salt Lake City for the fourth and final HCS Major of the 2024 season, hosted by <strong><a href="http://twitter.com/spacestation">Spacestation</a></strong>.</p>



<p>The hometown heroes, <strong><a href="http://twitter.com/spacestation">Spacestation</a></strong>, defended their turf, becoming back-to-back HCS Major Champions as they defeated <strong><a href="http://twitter.com/optic">OpTic Gaming</a></strong> with a dramatic bracket reset in the Grand Finals! <strong><a href="http://twitter.com/shopifyrebels">Shopify Rebellion</a></strong>‘s remarkable consistency was on display yet again as they secured their third consecutive 3rd place finish.</p>



<p>From the intense tournament action to the wide variety of games and experiences on offer, the HCS SLC Major had something for everyone. Huge thanks again to SSG for hosting an event we won’t soon forget!</p>

<p>Seattle was the stage for the epic conclusion to the 2024 HCS season as the best players from around the globe battled it out for $1,000,000 at the <strong>Halo World Championship</strong>.</p>



<p>Fans packed the venue for 3 thrilling days of intense competition, cosplays, developer panels, and a variety of community activities that brought the Halo universe to life.</p>



<p>The season reached its peak as <strong><a href="http://twitter.com/spacestation">Spacestation</a></strong> capped off a dominant season, securing the organization’s first-ever Halo World Championship title and etching their names in Halo esports history!</p>
