Renowned for its mix of breathless short-range encounters, stealth opportunities, and intense vehicle combat through memorable scenery such as snowy canyons and subterranean complexes, the original Assault on the Control Room showcased nearly every weapon and vehicle available in Halo: Combat Evolved’s campaign.
That made it the perfect mission to share with the world. Dive into the fully remade snow-filled wonders of Assault on the Control Room, complete with brand new gameplay enhancements like vehicle boarding and an expanded arsenal, in the full pre-release playthrough embedded above.
In this mission, the Master Chief and Cortana make a daring aerial insertion into an underground Forerunner installation in search of the control room that governs Alpha Halo. There, they may just discover something pivotal about this mysterious ringworld.
