Hello There. I'm a Portuguese Halo player and a great fan of the series. I'm a great casual player who devotes his skill to Halo, but also a lore digger, knowing even the stuff covered in the blackest of inks.
My favorite Halo games ranges in categories. I don't have a particular favorite.
Campaign: Halo Combat Evolved and Halo 3
Story: Halo 2
Multiplayer: Halo 2, Halo Reach, Halo 5 and Halo 2 Anniversary
Soundtrack: Halo Combat Evolved, Halo 2 Anniversary, Halo 3 ODST, Halo 3 and Halo 5
Artstyle: Mixed, with a bias towards the classic artstyle. For Forerunner artstyle, Bungie comes on top all the time, although I still love the Promethean's design.
Playstyle: I generally like all Halo games, whether it's full classic or enhanced. As long as I enjoy it, all fine by me. Although Halo 2 Anniversary's MP made me love the purity of classic gameplay and OG Halo 2's experience is just timeless. I'd prefer a fusion between classic and Spartan abilities.
Do I have hope for Halo Infinite?
I'm going to be bold when saying this, but I'm actually satisfied with the stories of Halo 4 and Halo 5. I have hope, especially because of the possible connections to the Forerunner trilogy.
Halo Reach may be one of my favorite MPs, but I don't play it anymore. I'm currently about to rank up to Legend, which I aim too, but after that, I'll just stop playing because I don't see or have any encouragement to grind for Inheritor. And no, I DON'T plan nor even like Grifball boosting. I see it as nothing but falsification of your true skill. I now hope for it to be added to MCC, at least after some core improvements like expanded customization. Reach could be the perfect testbed or that though.
Despite saying that I like Halo 5's MP, I generally just enjoy playing Customs a lot. Because the game's arena is a total sweatfest that I just can't get around to like, and I commonly choke before a kill in it. Oddly enough, it doesn't happen with any other Halo game. THIS however doesn't mean I'm not a bad player. I can still be good.
If you invite me for a Spartan Company and aim into getting Achilles, please note that I don't care about it and would only do it for fun, and maybe completion. Adding to it, Achilles requires a heavy amount of effort in Warzone which simply isn't my style. I dislike having to call out the weapons and vehicles instead of finding them on the map. If you invite me but plan to grind hard for it, I'm not the best person to reach to.
