Welcome to the Catherine Elizabeth Research And Intelligence Spartan Security Force, Spartan!
CERI is an independent agency and leading research organization, founded on the intelligence and Legendary technology of Catherine Elizabeth Halsey.
We are located at the home of the Spartan II program, on the planet of Reach and out of a number of other undisclosed locations.
Our directive is to secure intelligence, unlock the secrets of alien technology, insure humanity's survival and further our advancements.
Catherine Halsey's Spartans are integrated with the best in Forerunner, Human and Covenant advancements, thanks to the discovery of numerous artifacts and installations, as well as the cooperation of both, the Librarian and Arbiter. Because of all this, the true vision that was sought during the advent of the S2 program is now possible.
CERI works tirelessly to restore Reach to its former glory, while using the best in terraforming and glass removal technology. Our relevance, data, research, knowledge, experience and secrecy insures our existence.
Addressed as "Mum," or "Mom" by her Spartans and "Doctor Halsey" by her fellow co-workers and the public.
Catherine treats her Spartans as her own sons and daughters, however, displays no favoritism and is often described as calculative, cold mannered, stern, unaccepting of failure and will not hesitate to send a Spartan to their death, should the need arise. She will not do so on a whim, however. Catherine will recognize and address a Spartan in accordance to their Spartan Rank(SR).
Armor modifications(to Jorge, or not to Jorge?)
Although, mum will not necessarily punish you for making your own modifications to your Mjolnir powersuits(Jorging your armor), she does have a strong distaste for the defiling and maiming of the suits, so whatever you do had better turned out. Make sure any modifications are "very" necessary and will not hinder the wearer or the suit. Do at least consider confronting mum with your intent, before hand. While mom as not been much for saying "yes," she does not always say, "no." Mom may even offer to do it for you, if your idea should somehow meet her approval.
